Jigsaw Puzzles: Master Artists of Old

Recommended for jigsaw puzzle fans. It's pretty simple, has a ton of pictures and different difficulties for each. It functions well, has a basic interface and I like the ability to save and quit so you can come back later. There are no bells and whistles and nothing innovative here. In the end, it's not bad for being free.

Yeah, this falls into the asset flip bucket because it was a cash grab intended to profit a minimal effort "game" populated with assets that the "developer" had no hand in creating. Just short of digusting plagiarism, and nothing but a valueless cash grab. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $4 USD for this. $4 for images of someone else's art that he stole off the internet. Why is this allowed on Steam? In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at [b]only 5 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Definitely not. This isn't worth it. I'm paraphrasing another reviewer here, but this should be a paid product... they'd have to pay people to download it. I feel almost as ripped off as the artists whose work this developer stole for profit.

These puzzles are beautiful and the ability to choose the level of difficulty is great. However, one big issue, is the furry background makes it impossible to see some of the pieces even when zooming to full size. I selection of backgrounds would be helpful, the blue fur has to go.
