I was a Japanese major in college, so I was instantly drawn to this game. While it didn't 100% satisfy my curiosity on Japanese American culture, it's a very lowkey and bite sized game, it was charming in it's on own right.
Very touching and AMAZING game! Each character represented an important perspective in the JA community. We really loved the script and beautiful graphics, as well as the music and scenes. The narrative does an excellent job of depicting the moral and economic dilemmas facing development in J-Towns. Loved the incorporation of all three J-Towns! The taiko and basketball scene was really fun too! KEEP UP THE INCREDIBLE WORK! - Michael & Emily

it was such a beautifully designed game! i learned a lot about japanese-american culture while also having fun with the decision making and all the different characters! such a nice game to play, and it was such an amazing job from the game team! 100% recommended!!!!
excellent writing and important history. really enjoyed it!
Awesome educational video on Japanese American culture. I wish it was a bit more in depth and specific, but the developers can spin some more educational content stemming from just this video. Funny exaggerations and comical answer choices were great. The most moving story was the J-Town Church.
This game is absolutely outstanding, both from a cultural and historical point of view. The characters are very personable, and the story is very well written. The music is pretty awesome too. Highly recommended.
Nice visual novel talking about the communities and histories of J-Towns and Asian Americans. It teaches you about what makes these J-Towns so unique.
