In the game, you will simply micromanage your Base of Operations, from which you will set out on expeditions. After the first (tutorial) expedition, the game world will be open to you! Over time, you will decide for yourself which of the currently available expeditions to go on. And after completing the campaign's story arc, you will be treated to a “ continuation".

Many enemies have more than one appearance model, which is randomly selected at the beginning of the map. This means that subsequent visits to the same location may result in encountering enemies with different appearances.
