This is a puzzle game where you need to move cubes into the correct holes on 46 different levels. I find this game fun but it can be just a little repetitive, but it's still tolerable. 6/10 For more short reviews check out this: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/Gaming_made_cheap

IsoCubes is a simple block-push puzzle game. It has 46 levels, roughly 6-8 of which require any thinking beyond the obvious. In the rest, you only need to push the buttons towards an apparent solution, which is yet oddly satisfying. At the asking price, this is fine.
IsoCubes is a thoughtfully designed puzzle game developed and published by NanningsGames that proves engaging puzzle experiences do not require complicated stories or elaborate visuals to succeed. Built around a clean isometric presentation and a straightforward set of mechanics, the game challenges players to manipulate cubes across carefully constructed stages while gradually introducing new concepts that expand the depth of each puzzle. What begins as a simple exercise in movement and positioning steadily evolves into a rewarding test of logic, planning, and spatial awareness. At its core, the game revolves around guiding green starred cubes to their designated target locations. Rather than directly controlling these objective cubes, players interact with special blue cubes that influence movement and positioning throughout the level. This indirect approach immediately adds a strategic layer to the gameplay because every move affects multiple elements within the puzzle. Players must think ahead, anticipate the consequences of their actions, and carefully consider how each adjustment contributes to the final solution. One of the most impressive aspects of IsoCubes is the way it introduces complexity without overwhelming the player. The early stages function as an effective learning process, teaching the fundamental mechanics through practical application rather than lengthy explanations. As players become comfortable with the basics, additional mechanics are gradually introduced, ensuring that the challenge remains fresh and engaging throughout the entire experience. The game's puzzle design consistently demonstrates creativity. New mechanics are not simply added for variety; they are integrated in ways that encourage players to rethink established strategies. Certain cube types introduce entirely new possibilities, forcing players to adapt their thinking and explore alternative solutions. This steady evolution prevents the gameplay from becoming repetitive and creates a satisfying sense of progression as each new concept builds upon previous knowledge. Among the more interesting mechanics are cubes capable of generating additional objects within a stage. These elements significantly increase the complexity of later puzzles by requiring players to account for newly created pieces and their influence on the environment. What initially appears to be a straightforward objective often becomes a multi-step challenge involving careful sequencing and precise positioning. These mechanics reward experimentation and encourage players to analyze problems from different angles. Conveyor systems further expand the strategic possibilities. Moving platforms introduce directional flow and timing considerations that add another layer of depth to puzzle-solving. Players must account for how objects will travel once placed on these conveyors, creating situations where success depends on predicting future movement rather than simply reacting to the current state of the puzzle. These additions enrich the gameplay while remaining consistent with the game's overall design philosophy. Vertical movement also plays a significant role in the later stages. Changes in elevation force players to think in three dimensions, considering not only where objects are positioned but also how different heights affect possible solutions. This use of verticality helps distinguish IsoCubes from many traditional block-pushing puzzle games and adds considerable variety to the level design. As a result, later puzzles often feel substantially more sophisticated than their early counterparts. The overall structure of the game is built around a collection of forty-six handcrafted puzzles, each designed to introduce a new challenge or explore a particular mechanic. The quality of these levels remains consistently high throughout the experience. Rather than relying on artificial difficulty or obscure solutions, the game emphasizes logical problem-solving. Most puzzles feel fair, and the solutions often produce satisfying moments of realization when the correct approach finally becomes clear. Visually, IsoCubes embraces simplicity. The isometric perspective provides a clear view of the environment while also contributing to the game's spatial challenges. Bright colors and clean geometric designs ensure that important elements are immediately recognizable. This clarity is essential in a puzzle game where understanding the layout is a crucial part of the challenge. The minimalist aesthetic also gives the game a relaxing atmosphere that complements its thoughtful gameplay. The user interface follows the same philosophy of simplicity and efficiency. Controls are intuitive, movement is responsive, and information is presented clearly. Players can focus entirely on solving puzzles without unnecessary distractions or cumbersome menus. This streamlined design helps maintain immersion and ensures that the challenge comes from the puzzles themselves rather than the interface. Another strength is the game's accessibility. The mechanics are easy to understand, making it approachable for newcomers to the puzzle genre. At the same time, the later stages provide enough complexity to satisfy experienced players looking for a meaningful challenge. This balance allows IsoCubes to appeal to a broad audience while still offering depth for those who enjoy carefully analyzing difficult problems. The progression system, while simple, provides a steady sense of accomplishment. Completing stages unlocks further challenges and encourages players to continue advancing through the increasingly complex levels. Because each puzzle introduces something new or expands upon an existing idea, there is a constant feeling of learning and improvement throughout the game. IsoCubes may not feature an elaborate narrative or extensive content beyond its puzzles, but it remains focused on delivering exactly what it promises. Its strength lies in the quality of its level design and the satisfaction derived from solving increasingly intricate challenges. Players seeking action, storytelling, or expansive worlds may find the experience limited, but puzzle enthusiasts are likely to appreciate the game's dedication to thoughtful and intelligent design. Overall, IsoCubes is an excellent example of how a minimalist concept can be developed into a compelling and rewarding puzzle experience. Through carefully crafted levels, steadily evolving mechanics, and an accessible presentation, it delivers a consistently enjoyable challenge that encourages logical thinking and creativity. The game successfully transforms simple cube manipulation into a surprisingly deep exercise in strategy and problem-solving, making it a worthwhile experience for anyone who enjoys well-designed puzzles.
