Island Diary

问题比较大的短篇废萌。 人物塑造比起萌更接近单纯的幼，而且兽娘属性还进一步恶化了这种观感。设定比较离奇，又没有能在剧情里发挥出来，属于从大脑滑过还能留下些迷惑的东西。Hscene过少，配乐也不算舒服。 除非对封面角色一见钟情否则确实不太值得玩。

I ended up being pleasantly surprised by Island Diary. I wasn't expecting much, considering it's short, obscure, and the premise looks like an excuse plot just to show off cute girls. (The cute girls are a pretty big selling point though.) However, it ended up being much better than I thought. The story is about a group of people stranded on a deserted island. The story was a lot more serious than I expected, with most it focused on the actual survival. The tone is mostly slice-of-life, though there's a decent amount of comedic moments, tense moments, and emotional moments. For such a short story, it accomplishes quite a lot, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. In fact, it's kind of a bummer it's so short, because the setting is quite interesting and I wanted to see more. The one thing you need to be aware of is the poor English translation. Not only were Kuro and Moca's third-person speech pattern removed, there's also a lot of mistakes given how short the VN is. It's not too big of a deal, but it can feel jarring.
