About
ROME HAS COME TO BRITAIN.
Invasion of Britannia is a third-person strategy RPG set during the Roman invasion of Britain in AD 43. Step into a living, historically grounded world where settlements grow, trade, starve, fight, and fall without waiting for the player to arrive.
You begin as part of Rome's expeditionary force, learning to survive on the edge of the empire by gathering resources, crafting equipment, expanding a Roman base, scouting enemy villages, commanding soldiers, and taking your first settlement. From there, Britannia opens into a dynamic campaign of survival, trade, conquest, and ambition.

The world of Invasion of Britannia continues to move whether you are present or not. Settlements gather resources, assign workers, produce food, craft weapons, raise soldiers, form caravans, build defenses, suffer raids, and expand over time.
Every town has needs. If food runs short, shops cannot sell what the people require to survive. If a settlement lacks iron, it cannot arm new soldiers. If trade is disrupted, production slows. If experienced workers die in a raid, the economy feels the loss.
Begin as a member of the Roman invasion force in 43 A.D. and help establish a foothold in southern Britannia. Complete missions for Roman commanders, gather supplies, scout hostile villages, and lead soldiers into battle.
As the campaign expands, you can raid settlements for resources, fully subjugate enemy towns, protect friendly caravans, weaken rival economies, and manage your own headquarters while other holdings continue under AI control.
Resources are not abstract numbers. Logs, stone, food, metal, weapons, armor, and luxury goods are gathered, stored, crafted, traded, consumed, carried, or lost.
NPCs work as farmers, miners, lumberjacks, builders, crafters, blacksmiths, traders, soldiers, and more. Their labor shapes the world: towns grow, walls rise, armies form, and conquered settlements gradually transform as old buildings are demolished and Roman structures take their place.
Settlements do not simply exchange goods through menus. Trade moves through physical caravans that travel across the map, carrying resources, payment, and risk.
Escort friendly caravans to keep towns supplied, or raid enemy caravans to weaken a settlement before attacking it. A single broken route can ripple through a region, starving production, damaging morale, and reducing a town's ability to defend itself.
NPCs are persistent members of the world. A blacksmith who survives long enough gains experience and becomes more efficient. A farmer who feeds a settlement becomes part of its strength. A soldier lost in battle must be replaced by someone with the equipment, training, and resources to take their place.
Population is power. Protect your people, disrupt your enemies, and understand that every raid changes more than the battlefield.

Serve Rome, earn Emperor's Favor, and send precious resources or luxury goods back across the sea in exchange for elite troops, unique armor, and imperial support.
But conquest has a price. If Rome succeeds in taking Britannia, the Emperor may demand that you surrender what you have built. Obey, and the campaign ends in Roman victory. Refuse, and declare yourself Imperator, turning your former masters into your greatest enemy.
