a lot scarier than its standalone meta version, was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ my pants ALOT "whats your name" said some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mimic as he blasted by face off like they did with Kurt Cobain, 10/10 game
love this game a lot all the new updates are great some bugs but its a vr game so i got no complaints there but if i can say one it's that yall aint playing it so what ya doin get the game already.
Into the Radius was my favorite native VR game. Now, Into the Radius 2 is my favorite native VR game. I absolutely love these. Got the DLC for both 1 and 2 and will probably get anything this developer releases. I suck out loud at them, but I'm trying to use the shooting range to get better. Anyone who tells you that ITR and ITR2 aren't survival horror games is lying.
# Version 1.0 Finally Makes It Feel Like a Complete Game I have 100% achievement completion in ITR1 and over 400 hours of playtime. I've also been playing ITR2 since well before the 1.0 release, and at the time of this review, I have 243 hours in the game. Roughly 100 of those hours were from before 1.0, when all save data was wiped. The remaining 143 hours have been spent playing the 1.0 version as an actual game with a story and an ending to its main missions. The story progresses through chapters involving a character named Lauri, with your progression tied to those chapters. As you advance, you level up and additional items become available in the shop. However, in my experience, there are still quite a few softlocks. For example, an important Chapter 2 mission simply failed to trigger for me. Because of this, I strongly recommend making a manual save before accepting or starting important story missions. I had no backup save when I encountered a softlock, so I ended up having to redo the same section three times. Having played the game this much, it's difficult not to compare it with ITR1, so I'll list what I see as the main pros and cons. ## Pros * Enemies are considerably less aggressive, and their detection ability seems weaker. This makes long-range sniping much more effective. * The currency/economy balance feels just right. * Suppressors no longer suffer from the extremely rapid degradation they had before. * You can now maintain and clean your weapons at safehouses. * Stashed Weapons found in the field can be different from the versions sold in shops. For example, you can find unique color variants such as a navy-green MP9, a Mosin-Nagant with white furniture, and a tan G36. There are also weapons that aren't sold in shops at all, including a sawed-off Mosin-Nagant and a compact 1911-style pistol. * The weight of your backpack no longer slows down your movement. You still can't exceed its maximum capacity, though. ## Cons * The weapon variety has been drastically reduced, and handguns now feel almost like challenge-run weapons. In ITR1, my eventual main weapon setup was a suppressed OTs-33 with a laser sight and extended magazine, so the current handgun selection feels particularly disappointing to me. * The maps feel smaller. * There is much less worthwhile loot to find in the field. In ITR1, almost anything you picked up could eventually be sold for money, even though carrying too much weight would slow you down. In ITR2, most items you find have very little value. As a result, I rarely bother bringing anything back unless it's related to weapons or magazines. This means that missions, artifacts, and weapons carried by the randomly encountered ashes of fallen soldiers become the main sources of worthwhile loot. Once you've collected everything worth taking from an area, there isn't much reason to stay there, and waiting for the next Tide can become pretty boring. ## After the Story Even after completing the story, you can continue accepting missions indefinitely. That's what I'm doing now. I still go out every day looking for unusual and limited weapons and items. Despite its remaining issues, version 1.0 finally gives ITR2 a proper gameplay loop and makes it feel like a complete game rather than an unfinished framework.
look guys im widerwee into the radius 2
Although the multiplayer is very buggy, the game itself is very good. With a little refining, this could be a top 3 vr game. If you're planning to play multiplayer, i would reccomend waiting for more patches. If you intend playing solo, you should get the game.
Amazing game would be very nice if crossplay was available though
I am very sad with how this game turned out to be for my experience. I loved the first game and almost everything about it, so naturally I wanted to try the next game. When playing I felt the features were fairly well done for the most part, however I ran into many optimization issues that often lead to me having to restart the game entirely. I also disliked how the body was always shown, often getting in the way, or it wouldn't be the same direction your head was facing, often making me grab the wrong item. Of course could be a spec issue or something wrong on my part, but I was left feeling disappointed and locked out of most of the game.
