One of those games that best exist in the VR space. After the seeing the team build a fantastic game with Radius 1 I was more than trusting to buy and wait for its successors full release. Now that its out got on and plaything through, I have to say how polished this feels (which feels like a rarity with these VR games). The looting is fun with a mechanique that makes you keep an eye out for ques on what loot would sell well. The baddies are bad! Gosh if I have not already jumped several times and got some great moments from this and Ive only begun. The new kitting and gear progression is worthy of a game itself. Ive seen games only for shooting with less depth. A must have for VR enjoyers, go break out your headset for this one. Has seating mode so get in a chair as you walk in circles stealthy navigating a ruined land and uncovering its mysterious. (P.S. My pc is getting pretty old now and this is somehow really well made because im able to pull way over what I should visually haha)
Great game.
So i purchased into the radius 2 having so much fun playing the first game but seriously think this game needs some optimization updates to improve the gameplay quality and reduce the lag. (using meta quest 3 plugged in) Even at the lowest graphic settings i been plagued with lag issues. More than a few enemies advancing on me will leave my game lagging real bad allowing the mimics to advance on me and gang up on me. Stashed weapons flinging off into the air cause you grabbed the gun and broke the ash statue causing the physics to glitch. Pulling out the map invokes a lag spike. Some buildings in the game when spending to much time inside will cause serious lag issues. The shop becomes a laggy mess if you spend to much time inside even if not buying anything. Building you climb into with statue of lauri that's near the first official shelter you visit is a laggy mess I know i may not have the top of the line PC but even with the specs I have I shouldn't be in a lagging hell playing the game at the lowest graphic settings. I seriously hope this game gets the proper updates to play it smoothly but for now I can't fully recommend this game until improvements are made to allow a smoother and longer chance to play the game.
Great game. still a bit buggy now and then. but great
It took me longer to setup my room for the VR session, than it took playtime for the game to completely crash my whole headset connection to my PC. How the devs manage to F- up a perfectly good game post release should be studied. From a smooth experience to a crashy, stuttery mess.
This game is so freakin good. sure, could be optimized a bit more, but dang, an improvement over the original (which I loved) in every way.
I loved it , it took the all the nerdy stuff I loved about ITR1 and multiplyed it by 11 but it also took stuff I hated about It and did the same . Graphical issues with screen growing fuzzy when moving is one thing I already have that in real life called astigmatism but the constant freezing , lag and mic issues makes using one of the may sellings points co-op hard and unfun at times . One thing I would reccomend is a freeze feature where while loading any player freeze all enemies and hazards for 30 seconds or until the players leave a certain bubble and also autosaves every 15 minutes. Now I still love this game and I want future support for more players and my revolver back so Im going to list a funny moment I would like to share so the devs will continue to develop my favorite game FUNNY MOMENT: We were searching through a house and I was outside checking the shed . when sudden I heard one of the mimics voice lines but then I hear "OH SH*T" and two shotgun blasts I run to check on my friend and he is safe and sound I clear the rest of the house when one of the invisble enemies show up I put an entire mag into him and it goes down. PLEASE KEEP DEVELOPING THIS GAME YALL DID SO WELL WITH ITR1 , ME AND MY FRIEND LOVE THIS DESPITE ALL OF THESE ISSUES BUT UNTIL SOME FIXES OR TWEAKS ARE MADE WITH AUTOSAVES AND SAFE BUBBLES WHEN LOADING . ITS TOO MUCH TO JUST IGNORE.
Great game, happily lost in the radius ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ my pants every time night falls for hours. One gripe though, Finally got enough security points to use the .45 ammo I've been collecting and there's NO SEXY REVOLVER. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
DId a few hours of this game in early access, then moth balled awaiting release. Tried version 1.0 for the first time today. Asked for the tutorial. (Skip Tutorial: Off) This kind of backward question (instead of Tutoirial ON or OFF) rings alarm bells for me about what kind of thinking the developers have. ie, backwards. So anyhow, I go into the game, the instructions are to meet with someone outside who will 'guide' me into the radius. I shake hands with teh ghostly figure, and he points me off into the dark. And I mean dark. It is basically pitch black. I have no gear. I have no instructions on where to go or what I am supposed to be doing. So I walk around stumbling into one anomaly after another with zero idea of what I am supposed to be doing. THIS IS ASSHAT GAME DEVELOPMENT. It is criminal. If you want people to play the game, at least give them a bloody goal at the start before sending them into the DARK, I guess I will start again, and skip the ASSHAT tutorial. Which is NOT a tutoirial. I cannot believe they deliver up this garbage. I absolutely regret giving them my money. Went in again. Skipped the asshat broken tutorial. Went into the first mission. Ghost friend asks me for my tablet. Well I cannot find where my tablet is. Go back to the bunker and look around for it. No dice. Google it. It is attached to my lower back. OF COURSE IT IS. Why not give me a bloody prompt my ghost friend. I probably would have known if the tutorial worked. But it doesn't. I come across these anomalies. They hurt. I have no idea what to do with them. I have a device that spits little ribbons on to the ground. Great. Should come in handy. I come across a train inspector who shoots at me. I shoot back, but my bullets go off in random directions. Seriously, I know how to use the front and rear sights of a pistol to shoot accurately, and even at 10 paces this little pistol will not shoot straight. Great. Dead again. And what about putting another mag in ... ahahahahahaha. you have to shove it in real deep, it seems buggy as, else it just falls to the floor. Dead again. I don't mind dying. I don't mind a learning curve. I hate asshat developers that give you zero information and expect to crawl around in the dark as a tutorial. Can anyone tell if this game is worth my time trying to figure out? Or is it just an asshat jank fest over and over again?
