Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Deep within an isolated forest, a solitary figure known only as Quiet One struggles to understand a memory that refuses to fade.

Long ago, he encountered a mysterious young woman he now calls Red One. What happened between them remains uncertain. Was it love, obsession, sacrifice, tragedy, or something far more difficult to name? Quiet One cannot answer that question, and perhaps he no longer wants to.
Now the forest has become both refuge and prison. As the years pass, the presence of Red One continues to follow him through scattered memories, fragmented diary pages, imagined conversations, and moments that blur the line between reality and hallucination. Whether she is a ghost, a memory, a manifestation of guilt, or something else entirely is left for the player to decide.

Inside the Forest is a psychological visual novel focused on introspection, symbolism, ambiguity, and emotional tension. Rather than providing clear answers, the story explores themes of longing, regret, identity, memory, and the lingering influence one person can have over another long after they are gone.
Through Quiet One's reflections and his conversations with the enigmatic Red One, players gradually uncover fragments of a relationship that continues to shape both of them. Some mysteries may become clearer. Others may only deepen.
In a place where certainty is rare and memory has a life of its own, the greatest danger may not be what hides within the forest, but what refuses to leave it.
