I have spend many hours on this game before I downloaded it through steam. The last update from the 28/29th of August however keeps giving me a disc write error and I have followed all the steam guides trying to get it resolved. Nothing seems to work however. Hours of lovely gaming (and some money) wasted. A real shame I can't play this game anymore as the game is refusing to update
Don't listen to the haters. Plus: + Tons of no gacha fashion (6 miracles, stars shop each patch, piles of craftables, ability outfits, event outfits) + you could literally have a great time without never even opening the gacha page (besides wwm the only gacha i know of that can claim this) + customizable ability fashion + lots of dye options + super pretty and cozy (even more so if your PC is good) + zero pay to win + each patch is just fun and chill + dailies can be done in 2 mins + beautiful maps + you have a cat + great housing (you can photo collect furniture in open world and craft a loot) + story improved a lot in 2.5+ + amazing photo mode the negatives: - nudgy marketing strats (fake discounts, step up rewards for spending) - black and white dyes are usually locked into summoning 180/230 times + 3 and 4 stars dont have proper black dye (dark green is your friend here) - some bugs - the story is a bit of a hot mess sometimes (especially 2.x ending) - Watch the removed intro on Youtube - different faces for Nikki are locked behind Wanxiang Outfit 1.0 Wishfield story Very cozy bright foresty vibes 2.0 Itzaland Jungle and Roman Coast vibes Soon 3.0 (propably big Metropolis City) I geniunely love the game. It ain't perfect, but it always gives me joy. Bit sad that ignorant influencers and some missteps by infold led to a pretty lackluster reputation imo. The core fanbase is pretty loyal and active on discord and reddit though.

Infinity Nikki is such a beautiful and relaxing game. The world is gorgeous, the outfits are amazing, and exploring Miraland never gets boring. I really enjoy the cozy activities, puzzles, and just running around discovering new things. It’s not a very challenging game, but that’s part of its charm. Perfect if you want something cute, relaxing, and easy to get lost in. Highly recommend!
upon booting up it will force you to look at all of their promotional BS, you can't click out of it to play the game without crashing it.
As a mature (54) lady gamer, I have played a few other gacha games and continue to do so; however, I have been playing this charming, adorable, and cosy gacha game since around February this year, and I find it very engaging. I have already logged over 1,000 hours (quite a lot, I realise). I make a conscious effort not to spend any real money on games, but I do contribute a small amount each month (around £25) because I really enjoy it. Infinity Nikki has definitely become my favourite gacha game to play.
I used to love this game, but I can't in good conscious recommend this or any game made by Infold. Also 119 GB is ridiculous for a gacha game, or any game really.
this game is honestly terrible, waited 3 hours for the game to finish downloading just to play 5 mins, great graphics but dont waste your time please. it lags, the game does freeze at times and i dont have this problem with my other games. p.s you will need a console like pc to run this game.
If you love to explore and fight looking absolutely beautiful, this game is for you.

I want to make it clear that while steam says I've only played Infinity Nikki for 6 hours, I've been playing this game since 1.0 through Infold's own launcher until it stopped doing its job and launching the game. There is a lot I love about this game which is why it pains me that I can't recommend it. I love all of the dress-up mechanics of the game, I think a lot of the outfits are gorgeous and, even though this is a gacha game, a lot of wonderful clothing pieces are accessible to free-to-play players. I like *some" of the story quests and characters, it is not the deepest storytelling ever but it is still engaging and exciting (to me at least). And I like the platforming aspect of the game! I think it's really fun! My first issue with the game is probably the main reason I can't recommend it and it is not related to any of the in-game aspects of it. It is just way too big. I had to get an external drive just to be able to update the game to its newest version. For a game that is advertised as rather friendly to casual gamers, it really seems like the player needs to invest into a computer with the disk space of a small data center (which imo is the opposite of what a casual player would want to do). I really wish the game was optimized better, seeing a new update is becoming less exciting and more disheartening because It feels like countdown until I will no longer be able to play the game. My other issue is that so many areas become irrelevant after their update season. The game rarely gives reasons for players to return to specialty areas from themed seasons like the firework isles or the danqing realm. They essentially become photoshoot spots and while that's part of the game I find it disappointing. Especially knowing that they take up precious precious space on my pc. I dunno, I don't really see the point in recommending a game of such size when the majority of the memorable quests and storylines that made me love this game are just an accessory to advertise a picture background.
