A Match - 3 Straight from Hell. Story: There's no storyline in Inferno Puzzle, so we're heading straight to graphics. Graphics: Looking at the screenshots at the store page, you can very quickly determine that Inferno Puzzle is not a looker. The visuals are rough and very poorly made. The cubes you have to match are poorly cropped and the images are incredibly low quality. It genuinely looks like it was drawn in Microsoft Paint and imported straight into the game without any clean up. As many other reviews have pointed out, it looks very much like one of those rough sites from the late 90's, just without any of the charm, just very quickly thrown together. Audio: Basically all of the audio is pure stock free library. From the music playing throughout the game, to the audio you hear when you match up the 3 of the same cubes and hear them explode. It's so generic and bad, there's really not much to say in this part of the review, the trailer of the game tells you all you need to know. Gameplay: Inferno Puzzle is as generic as Match-3 puzzle games come. All you do is match up 3 of the same thing throughout the 19 levels and that's that. However there's basically no challenge here as mostly the game is absurdly easy and not to mention the levels are all basically the same, the only difference being the board layout being "slightly" different. Most Match-3 games, even the bad ones seem to nail the matching aspect. It always feels good to match up the required item and see those things go boom, however Inferno Puzzle is one of the first times where I felt absolutely nothing, while clearing the objective as it feels so soulless. It works for the most part, but generally it feels a bit buggy too with a few issues, like switching cube places sometimes doesn't work. With how unfun the game is, that just seals the deal on how bad the game truly is. Verdict: With how many Match-3 games there are on steam (let alone in other places) it's not worth nor the money or the time to play this one. It's boring and poorly made to quickly make a buck and you're better off looking for something else. Final Rating: 1/10 Pros: N/A Cons: - Stock free sound effects are horrible - Gameplay is boring - 19 levels that are basically identical - Buggy If you liked this review please consider joining https://steamcommunity.com/groups/completingthebacklog

Do not be fazed by my thumbs down. Come back to this game soon and it will probably have earned a thumbs up. Pros: -The noise you get when you have 3 or more in a row is ridiculously satisfying. -The "dark" theme of the game is an interesting concept. -I also like the idea of having holes in the board. I have never seen it before - but then again, I don't play too many of these types of games. -The music is nice. Very nice. It makes me want to work as a receptionist. Cons: -Uncompressed, the game and its assets are a ridiculous 805 MB. This should not be the case; all the images are low resolution and the music shouldn't be too large. Common Redist is only about 120 MB. -The game looks too amateur. It feels as if it was made for a school project or something - and in that respect, it's good. -The level select menu looks messy. -When playing a level, the text looks messy and out of place. -The buttons beneath the score are not aligned. -The icon when running the game is the Unreal logo. -It runs slowly for a matching game. -The game doesn't tell you when you're boned. That is, if you can't make a move, the game doesn't let you know. -All of the buttons look different. Possible Improvements: -The game would look much better if the level buttons were placed neatly and looked the same. -I like the idea of having a "dark" themed background image, but please consider having a background that won't make the left side of the screen look messy. -Instead of using a generic font for the title screen and desktop icon, consider making some custom artwork. -My biggest recommendation would be to code the game yourself, engine and all. UE4 is great, but you don't want to be giving them 5% of your profits and wasting several MB of space with their engine. It shouldn't be too difficult to code this game if you learn C++ or Java (or something). tl;dr: In my opinion, the game needs some work. The concept is nice, but the implementation needs to be touched up. There are places where the layout appears messy, and the game runs slowly. (No one reviews like Gaston.)
This is officially the worst match-3 game I ever played. And this monstrosity is built on UE4. The time has come to reconsider your Unreal/Unity attitude. Gaben, Steam Direct doesn't work. Fix, please.
Inferno Puzzle is maybe one of the worst games i have ever played! The Jazzy tunes are the only good thing in this abomination of a puzzle game. Overall this game is horrible... But the tunes.
This game competes with Triple Otakus Puzzle from the same developer for the worst match 3 game in history, but I guess this one might be a bit less buggy and a tiny bit better. There is also no settings of any kind in it. Stay the hell away from this developers games.

This is an Unreal Engine asset flip from serial infringers, Tero Lunkka. The "developer" paid for/pirated someone else's example/template game, changed the name, and submitted it to Valve as if it was their own game. They've ripped off other people's work repeatedly in the past (things like Advanced Tuning Cars, which was rebadged as "Nash Racing" for example) but Valve does little to stop this rampant copyright infringement. Completely reprehensible, morally bankrupt behavior from repeat offending scammers. Impossible to recommend.
