This is the third Aegon game I've played after Astray and Lazaret. It's my least favorite so far but I still enjoyed it. Most of the puzzles made sense and with enough exploration and thought I was able to figure them out. I'd say it's easier to know what to do next than RE Remake. The game isn't super scary but it has a good creepy vibe. So far all three Aegon games have played/felt like the Amnesia games but with puzzle that make more sense and fewer bugs than I experienced playing through the Amnesia series. I got this game on discount and it took me about 4 hours to beat it and I feel I got a good value for my money.
游戏还可以 基本上算是解谜 没什么高能 还行吧!
Infectis offers very nice graphics with the Unity Engine, great soundeffects and a creepy atmosphere. Furthermore the game is very good optimized and delivers a heavy detailed game menu with all necessary options to change, like motion blur, head/camera bob or FoV as well as mouse speed adjustment. If you like these standard horror adventures with hide and seek as well as searching for items and keys combined with clever puzzles you do nothing wrong with it. Especially when it's on steam sale. But, at least THEN, grab it before it's getting cold. It's one of the better produced horror adeventure in these genre - even for the full price, i guess.
I'm not sure why it's got bad reviews. I liked it. The one thing in the beginning that I had trouble with was the first coded door. Not sure if I missed it or what...but I watched a video where someone else entered the code and from then on I had no problems.
I really have no idea why there are not more positive reviews for this game. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is both well optimized and well designed with interesting puzzles and a really cool environment. It reminded me a lot of Amnesia, but is much better than Amnesia in my opinion. And this is coming from someone who played Amnesia Dark Descent for several years. The frame rate is solid and there are lots of places where you can save the game anytime you want. You can also remap the controls. The monster is also pretty creepy and created just enough tension to know that someone else was in the house with you, but not enough to ruin the puzzle solving element of the game. I see some people complain about the second half of the game where the monster appears more so than the first half. But still he is pretty easy to outrun and hide from. Overall, this is one my favorite puzzle solving games and I highly recommend it.
