Simply put this game is an innovative breath of fresh air from the otherwise rather static genres of both strategy and zombie games. It manages to blend the two in a uniquely positive way that feels different and new. Commanding hordes of zombies is extremely satisfying and seeing the puny efforts of man come to nothing as all human civilizations burn is quite enjoyable. But, like any EarlyAccess game it still has a lot of room for improvement. The number of gamemodes the game offers brings a lot of variety to the table. So far the Skirmish and the World Domination are quite well developed, with room for improvement. Being a fan of similar strategy games I found the World Domination gamemode more akin to my tastes. The Skirmish is enjoyable but the World Domination is where things get really interesting, personally. I am very excited for the other planned gamemodes the Campaign and the Multiplayer. The soundtrack is beautifully composed and provides quite a good amount of immersion. However the tracks that play are irrelevant to what is actually going on, so you may find yourself leading the final attack on humanity's last city while the music is relatively calm. Obviously the game has some room for improvement. It could be because of my slow computer, but I found it a bit difficult to effectively select and control the units. Also in World Domination when my hordes were being attacked I found it difficult to counterattack, as selecting the target proved a bit tedious. However apart from that and the music issue, all the game needs is a bit of polish and its good to go. It is ofcourse still in Early Access so such things are expected at this stage. In short, the game holds great potential. Its innovitave, fun, and quite challenging at times. A great way to waste away a couple of hours. To those seeking to buy this game I suggest you do not expect too much out of the game as it is, or you might be disappointed, however for such a low price the content it already has is worth it. I expect a lot from this game in the future, as its foundations have a lot to offer and the idea behind the game just draws me in, and I believe the developers will deliver. The game is frequently updated and its come a very long way in a very short time. I recommend to fellow strategy game as well as zombie game lovers, to keep a very close eye on this game. Even as it is, its well worth a playthrough.
Ever wanted to play as the zombies in a zombie survival game? Well here's your chance to bite, slash, spit, and infect hundreds of surviving humans in a matter of minutes. You start out with one or a small number of zombies and have to work in strategy to infect as many as you can before the military shows up. You have one goal, world domination. How you go about it, is up to you. The game is still in early development so the only things you can do is play skirmish mode at this moment but it has potential. It has the basis for playing as the zombies and invading all of the world until every human is dead. The movements are a bit odd, but overall it's not too bad once you get used to it. So I'd say if the developers continue working on this game, then yeah it will be worth it for sure. But in the current state, only playing skirmishes isn't very enjoyable. Overall I give it 7/10
Good little game to play, got it in a bundle for cheap though, probably wouldn't pay £6.99. Now they added world dominaton there's a bit more to do where as before it was boring. Should be a really good game when multiplayer gets added! Also: On my i5 4690k and 970 I was getting 40 fps when I had a lot of zombies in, game could do with optimizing.
Good fun game, But there's a bad lag issue and my PC is a beast! When your at 120+ fps and then it drop's down to 13 fps... There's an issue..
This game certainly has great potential. To play as a zombie hoard infecting humans, turning them into zombies, and infecting more where there are thousands more, what's not to like? How refreshing to be the bad guy for once! 9.0/10.0
Can't turn music off!!!! It's really annoying!!! Better off playing without sound, or better yet, don't play the game at all. You don't even have time to read the tutorial. I kept dying of hunger, said the hell with it. There isn't much to the game. You grab a group of zombies and infect humans. My short time of play, I got bored quickly, not much fun if you have to constantly kill humans to feed, the hunger bar drops too fast and the military spawns in too fast. Humans also tend to wander on and off the map, makes it impossible to infect them all. Worst aspect I found is the zombies just stand around waiting to be killed. So if you're not everywhere at once, you'll get wiped out. Game is kinda boring, all you do is grab your zombie and target humans. No special abilities, nothing. When your zombies touch a building, it destroys it and you take damamge. Tried world domination. All you do is move 3 zombies around and attck cities then research. No tactical combat. Music was too loud, this version has no sound effect, just music. I didn't find any portion of this game any fun. Might have been okay had it come out in the 90s. This is more of an arcade game then a RTS.
This game is dead... last updat was in 2015
Firstable, the Game is simply awesome. Finally the Apocalypse out of the View of the Zombies! A Big Issue, the 'World Domination' Mode got a totally broke Performance. I walk with a horde of the hell of Zombies to the next Country. With the First Attack on a City, from the whole Land, there are bombers, helicopters and rockets incoming. And this was the Beginning of the End. About 10 Minutes later i have to exit the Game in reason of only single Images. My Computer is nearly High-End, so the Game seems to take a large Amount of Resources. Simply recommended the Game and hope for more Performance Tuning.
