Survive and explore the vast and brutal desert of the INEVITABLE LIGHT. Shelter-in during sand storms, make fire during freezing nights, walk in the shade on boiling hot days, and most of all, stay away from the hyenas. Think through your next move. Resources are scarce. Death is inevitable.

I would love to give this game a 'positive' rating. Perhaps if there was a 'so-so' option I could have chosen that. First off, it is a pretty game. I do like the graphics. The health meters with the inclusion of 'heat', because of the sun, which speeds up how quickly dehydrated you can become is nice. But... what's the point of this game? I've played over an hour, I found a little oasis, three small groups of buildings, gotten some food... but WHY am I doing this? Is there an end goal? Why am I in the middle of the desert? I sure wasn't IN the crashed plane that I wake up in - not only is there already a firepit, but there are 2 sleeping bags. So... what am I doing, and why am I doing it? Also, the 'medicine' you can take to boost your health barely gives anything back. And if you can't find shelter by nightfall? Yeah, you're in trouble. There's no moon, no stars, nothing. Just darkness. Can't even craft a torch. And if you can't find a bed? You're also screwed, because you can't carry a sleeping bag with you. The stamina also takes FOREVER to recharge, and you need stamina to get across the desert fast enough so the sun and heat don't outright kill you. It just feels so... unfinished. There's no GOAL. No rhyme or reason as to WHY I should explore the desert, what I'm looking for, or even what happened to the people who once lived in the buildings I find. I can't craft anything, I can't open containers, there's no story - even little notes left behind in buildings would be better than nothing! I just can't bring myself to give a good review. This is like opening a book that has an amazing cover and blurb, and finding out the pages are blank.
