killed me. absolutely deceased. masterpiece, game of the year, game of the current millenium, mark my words. i am holding sif in my teeth and i am shaking and foaming and crying but it's good. for both of us probably. if i was a stronger person i would replay this game so much but i am drained of everything in all the best ways and i advise anyone who likes a sad little guy play this immediately it will be devastating and you will love it. do it. teehee :)

This is one of the best games Ive ever played in my life, the writing is immaculate, the artstyle is cute and beautiful, the black and white vibes make me feel so comforted, and I see myself in Siffrin

An amazing experience that uses its medium of games in an innovative and fascinating way. The way it makes you relate to Siffrin through the gameplay elements is short of genius. The game also contains treats its themes of family and impostor syndrome with immense respect and care, contains great queer representation and honestly just makes me smile because I know that it must've helped a lot of people (including me). Highly reccomended.

Genuinely such a beautiful game I felt like I was going insane with the main character. The story was so interesting and sweet and I love a little bit of angst (or a lot). DEFINITELY RECCOMEND

(Normally I write joke reviews about games but this game changed me for the better and it deserves an actual review) (TLDR game good) In Stars and Time is an absolute masterpiece of a game that doesn't get as much love as it deserves, there's a lot I wish I can say but for the sake of doing this game justice I will only be talking about things I find important/want to talk about. The gameplay is a tad bit basic but it's nothing bad and it doesn't take away from the experience with both the battles and the map mode, the battle is the same as OFF so if you're looking for a game that revolutionizes the 2D RPG genera ISAT Isn't it but again it doesn't take away from the story/design The art design is some of my favorite pieces of art I've seen from a game, there's not too much I can say about it since it's different for everyone but all the character designs and the locations all look great The soundtrack is amazing and I recommend Listening to it if you want some comfortable vibes on your own, the battle music is also well put together and I find myself Listening to tracks often, again It's something that's different for everyone but it means something to me The characters are the main highlight for me in this game along with the story, Siffrin is one of the few protagonists I empathize with to such a huge degree they have become a comfort character to me, every other character is amazing as well and they're all enjoyable in their own right The story in this game is something I won't be touching on almost at all since it's something that needs to be looked at by yourself, it's not overwhelmingly positive because of the gameplay that's for sure Overall In Stars and Time should be a valid contender for one of the best RPG games on steam which is a sentence that you don't hear a lot and I know what you're probably thinking: "Ink, this game can't possibly be as good as something like deltarune or OFF, those are revolutionary you're bad at writing reviews Ink". and while ISAT doesn't revolutionize anything (and I am pretty bad at writing reviews /jk), it's important to know that nothing always has to reinvent the wheel and sometimes it'll reinvent only YOUR wheel, so let it please play this game it's the best $20 you'll spend if you like an RPG
