The platforming is fine for the most part, if a bit repetitive, but by the end you start to notice that the controls are not tight enough for what the game expects you to do. Wall running and wall jumping are especially floaty and finnicky, and the last level pushes their usage to the point of positively breaking the game, forcing you to throw yourself at every section 10, 20, 50 times in the hope to get an attempt where all the stars will align and make all your 20 jumps and bounces register correctly without losing speed and/or height at any point for unknowable reasons. Or you can just cheat and skip sections, but then, what is even the point. The "plot" is nothing more than a constant word votim of the most generic, repetitive and anonymous self-hate (and near the end self-help) you could imagine. There is nothing deep, creative or impactful at any point in the game - unless you consider coming up with five thousands slight variations of "You are useless and nobody ever liked you" praiseworthy, I guess. It's a free game, so if any of the two above were even just fine everything considered, I'd give it a thumb up. But unless you REALLY like first-person-platformers where you have to fight against the game physics, or you feel the need to be told for 2 hours straight how nobody was ever your friend and you don't deserve anything in life because you are a pathetic failure, I'm quite confident in saying that at the end of the day you'll just be wasting your time here.

Really nice music and was very fun to play. However in some areas my framerate dropped heavily and i have a rx 580
I went into this without much knowledge regarding what the game consists of so I expected a platformer with a unique artistic style and little else. I did not expect to feel emotional by the end of the game. I really appreciate how you guys handled the topics presented here- it could have come across as really saccharine, edgy, and/or shallow but it was quite touching and handled with a tactful gentleness that I've not seen very often in a videogame. You guys did a great job handling a sensitive topic and did so with the clarity and ease of someone who appears to have personal experience with both sides of it. On a gaming note: The gameplay was tough for me since I'm sort of awful at platformers so I used wing mode because I still wanted to see where you guys were taking the story- thanks for that option, by the way. I didn't have any tech issues nor did I experience glitches. Tl;DR: This game is really good. The story is touching and the artistic style is interesting enough to hold your gaze. Also- there's an "easy mode" of sorts if you're like me and want to finish the story but are terrible at platforming.
Before I played In Passing, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
It's a beautifully artistic game, but unfortunately, the controls are a little awkward. The game is difficult to begin with and the controls do you no favors. You can use Winged Mode to play through the narrative, but it just doesn't feel that rewarding when you know you're supposed to be using the platforms. I liked it, but not enough to recommend it to anyone.
For a free platformer experience, it's fine. Of course, this game has it's flaws, like some minor bugs and bad optimisation here and there, but I think it just comes with the fact it's free. Other than that, I like the story, and compared to what one might expect, it actually looks nice. The ambiance and the atmosphere just is great. And the fact that it's noob friendly with the wings mode just adds up to it. In conclusion, if you just want to relax and have a bit of platforming experience, I can recommend this for sure.
Very janky, frustrating and bland. I know it's free but that doesn't mean it's worth your time.
