Would not open on Steamdeck despite playable rating
21 hours in, and the game has sort of turned me. The story is still skippable but the puzzles and the colorful graphics have won me over ... --- After 4 hours I felt I had to nuance my initial review. The story is still too childish for my liking, but probably great for a 12 year old. Once you get past the opening area, the world opens up, and it's beautiful with a high level of verticality. It's the Ubisoft formula on steroids. A massive open world, filled with very gamey challenges and and monsters to fight for 10 different in-game currencies that can be used for upgrades. --- This feels like God of War (2005) but with a more kid friendly and silly story. I skipping through the story cut scenes hoping the game will get better as I go along. The map looks huge and the game-play might get better as more options open up later. But right now, it's not really capturing my imagination.
