the game should really have some kind of alternative to having a 2.80m² play space, im already flipping furniture around to play VR titles but sad reality is in big citys most appartment buildings dont have rooms where you can set up and almost 3m² playspace.. locking people out because they cant affort to live in a damn mansion ((over exaggerating obv. )) is just kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ innit~
IKAROS is fun little puzzle game which has must have room size of 2.8m x 2.8m - since can't teleport of such, must walk around in this sized of room to progress. Puzzles in the game are not difficult and some things are little clunky or how to put it. I did like that I actually had to crawl to get to the next area. + points for that. I made it to the point where I got the bow but then the game glitched on me - I couldn't use it and didn't know how to use it. The bow just dissappeared and I couldn't pick it up anymore from the menu which would had required me to start all ovet again but since of the very slow movement on the pad I didn't feel like starting it over again. Reading other people reviews seems I was quite near to the end anyway. So yeah - kind of recommend to try, but at the same time I don't. Really up to you, it is nothing special. xTzharkz [Eric].
15min roomscale puzzle escape and jank bow and arrow. nice 15mins for free.
.
Interesting experiment. This requires a large space because it's going for no teleportation or anything. I'm going to say the min size is slightly too small as I was hitting issues especially being in the corners of my play space all the time. It's not great on index controllers either. Interesting idea though clearly not for everyone. IKAROS is a free VR adventure game. It worked on my system, looked ok, sounded ok, played ok . I have 2.1m x 2.1m play area and the game Requires 2.8m x 2.8m of play area. I could not get out of the beginning jail cell because of my smaller play area and i have obstructions past that chaperone wall. Better if you have More than the required play area and maybe have a wireless HMD connection. Watch a game play video on youtube if you get stuck or curious about this game. Try it if you like VR adventure puzzle game and have plenty of room. Nice Game ! The mechanism is awesome! Will not get sick by the action require to do in this game. And those tasks are easy for non-VR experience player to handle. One thing make me upset is the gameplay really too short. Will the game have further development later? I am waiting forwrad to it. Awesome vr game but I wish it was longer. Now, I don't do a lot of reviews but this is a smaller company that needs the help and publicity. I think it was good though my playspace was a little too little. 3.8 by 1.8 but game requires 2.8 by 2.8 but I still managed to complete it. Awesome game and it should be turned into a full game. Also, I think you should make your steps in the game bigger depending on the play space you have. Hopefully, this turns into a full game/ project that is priced. Because I loved everything about it.
( ͡°👅 ͡°) Buen juego
It doesn't get better than free! This is a neat game in that you actually have to walk around your play space to get things done. I'm not prone to VR sickness but I thought this would be fun to try. Redirected walking is how they make the Holodeck give you seemingly infinite space, you know! The game specifies you have a play space of at least 2.8m x 2.8m. My space officially measures only 2.2 x 2.0, but some of the edges are kitchen counter and couch, so I was able to move a little outside my play space to progress through certain areas. If the edges of my space were actual walls it would have been impossible. Fair warning. The puzzles were not ridiculously easy and not super hard, either. It felt like playing through an introduction to
being a human sacrifice, or
a non-teleporty VR puzzle-adventure game.
Game requires a very large space to play. I literally did the first puzzle and couldn't progress because of the large play space requirement and lack of teleport/ smooth locomotion. It's too bad, the game seemed like it might have gotten interesting based on the screenshots.
