Snipping. Pruning. Eating. At what point are you no longer human?
IF WE MAKE IT HOME. is a short narrative space thriller, where you will learn how far an AI suit will go to follow an order.

IF WE MAKE IT HOME. is a gripping narrative space thriller that explores the thin line between survival and self-destruction. In this game, you step into the boots of a lone spaceman, stranded on a desolate, windswept planet. Your only companion? An advanced, hyper-intelligent space suit, driven by a single, unbreakable directive: keep you alive at all costs.
But survival isn't always as simple as it sounds. The suit will snip away at your weakness, prune your fears, and consume what it must to keep you breathing. But what happens when the cost of survival becomes your very humanity?

Swing around with a grapple hook, boost through the air with a jetpack, but at what cost to your energy? You decide.
Every decision burns precious energy, and every action pulls you further from the person you once were. How far will you go to make it home?

2 gigs for five minutes of playtime... My husband says the comic that is the basis for this game (The Suit) is far more impactful and worth the time. This game was a glorified, digitized recreation that is lackluster at best. Also, check your volume before playing, especially if you use headphones. The game has no menu, so no sound options. Also no QUIT GAME option at the start or the end, you'll have to tab out and shut it down via Steam.

Experimental, beautiful and atmospheric.
You ever wanted to know how the Suit in "The Suit" felt? Incredibly short, dark, and brooding. Absolutely hee-sterical when you realize it has platforming mechanics just to disempower you as it takes them away one by one. Good example of what games can be when you get a little weird with it.
Short but impactful - A faithful adaptation of the work by Scott Base
Ne zaman artık insan olmaktan çıkıyorsunuz?. her ne pahasına olursa olsun hayatta kalmayı garantileyen gelişmiş bir uzay giysisi hakkında kısa bir anlatı uzay gerilim romanıdır. Scott Base'in 'The Suit' adlı eserinden esinlenilmiştir.
IF WE MAKE IT HOME is light plagiarism at best. The game requires no play whatsoever and will cycle through its narrative without the player doing anything. The game is also devoid of accessibility features and audio control entirely. My biggest gripe, and the reasoning behind my harsh words in this review largely comes from the stolen material found not only in this game but also in SEMU. In IF WE MAKE IT HOME, it comes across as dishonest when you screen grab the panels from the comic and trace over the key imagery that completes it. SEMU however doesn't once mention that the game is a direct narrative parallel to The Suit, and it flat out steals artwork and disguises it under a pixelated filter. To make matters worse the Dev also insists on positively reviewing his own games, even to the extent of making a Youtube video on it titled "The BEST HORROR INDIE GAME you've NEVER heard of!?" despite it literally including his face that is featured on his channel. I understand the grind, but it's not really on. If you would like to see this for yourself, look at the PinkHoody account featured both in these reviews and on Youtube. “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.” ― Oscar Wilde Just read the comic.
