About
Idlemoor is a dark fantasy idle MMORPG set in a persistent online realm. Trade on the marketplace, fight in battlegrounds, defend the town in community events, and chat with fellow Wanderers! Infinite build possibilities, where each item is completely unique. Will your build be the best?
Choose how your character survives: fight enemies, train combat styles, gather resources, craft gear, trade with other players, fight against other players in PvP, and climb the competitive Elo rankings. Progress continues while you are away, but active players can make sharper decisions, react to community events & random events, manage the market, and push deeper into the world.
Persistent online progression
Your character keeps advancing over time through server-side saves and account-based progress.
Combat, training, gathering, and PvP battlegrounds
Fight players & creatures, improve combat stats, mine, woodcut, forage, skin animals, and build your character through multiple highly-connected complex gear & stat systems!
Player economy
Buy, sell, and trade through a shared marketplace where player activity shapes item movement. Each item is totally unique, and will never upgrade with identical stats. Build your character with multiple in-depth skill systems, as well as several stat and gear systems that connect to form a complex meta-game of infinite potential choices!
Community features
Chat with other players, compete on rankings, engage in community events every day, and take part in a persistent realm instead of a purely local idle game.
Idle Pacing
Idlemoor is built for long-term progression: short check-ins, longer grinds, rare drops, and slow accumulation of power.

Seems cool. Visually it looks good, a bit overwhelming at first.. alot of squares & rectangles. I like the RPG style and equipment affixes, like a website game called RWK (race war kingdoms) I like that i can gather and combat at the same time. I like the PVP real time stuff, It has some quality of life aspects that make it a good idle multiplayer game. Apparently this is similar to a another game and those players are losing their ♥♥♥♥ at how similar this game is to theirs. The other is a Sci-fi thing, while Idlemoor is an RPG thing, idk the drama between the games. Many years ago, long before many of you were born, schools would teach "imitation is a sincere form of flattery" But these days youre taught to make more money, sue everyone and don't talk about the rothschilds or why we are having a fuel shortage during the huge push for electric cars with subscriptions and kill switchs or why google is allowed to read your emails with Ai.
The annoying things about Idlemoor :

The enhancement system is annoying to figure out, you will break equipment and waste alot of resources learning what to do and what gear focus is.
apparently there is a buff currently that makes the enhancement system less sucky, but it will end in 2 days.. so the game will be worse in 2 days.
Durability.. equipment has small amounts of durability and imo ruins the fun of wasting your resources crafting your gear into something you want, it sux how much you fail and wasting resources to upgrade your gear only to run out of durability and brick an item.
i feel like lower level gear should have double the durability to accommodate new players getting familiar with the game and helping with frustration when the enhancement buff runs out.
Gear Focus is annoying because you need 2 specific stats to unlock it and you need to fumble around with the enhancement system wasting resources learning how to use it and in 2 days we will be worse-off after the buff is gone.
combat balance seems to be in favor of the healer/sanguin focus builds, i seem to get alot of loot with those affixes that benefit sanguin, it seems easier to get, much better for combat streaks and early game, while the other focus builds appear to be weaker and less effective in PVP, since all the winners of the PVP battlegrounds are healers.
the Isaac dev said there are only 2 gear focus builds that can compete at high-level content, but he didn't say which, and that makes me concerned at the balance of the game, while being frustrated with durability and the enhancements for gear focus and losing to healers in PVP and not seeing the focus of a player in the Battleground leaderboards.
there are no icons for the actions in the combat log.
there are no icons for equipment, like the helm has no helm icon.
there are no icons for character avatar.
combat logs soul-tether reflect damage is same color as the normal damage, would be nice if that damage was a different shade of red or something.
i cannot turn off the chat or collapse it like the other widgets.
you get much more resources for being online than offline, combat seems broken while offline, i get almost zero loot from combat while offline.
Essences are not explained well in the HELP, along with each column all using the same font color, some Essences are the same name as their Focus but others are not and it's hard to tell what to use, like Sanguin has the same essence name making them easier to use immediately while other Essence have different names to the Focus counterparts like Fury uses MIGHT Essence, if you were using essence to REROLL affixes this stuff is necessary to know.
nothing explains how to get Essence.
The only way to view your essence resource is to mouse-over the AUGMENTS in the Ledger > Combat at the top of the screen and see the tiny tooltip, i don't know where else to view my Essence storage or how to get Essence, i don't see an Essence log anywhere and the "ACTIVE INTEL" on the right side of the screen doesn't tell me about Essence.
DISMANTLE tooltip doesn't tell you what Essence you will get.
I can;t find a refresh button to refresh the window when it starts acting laggy, i have to close the game and open it again.
I don't like that all 8 pieces of equipment need 100% pure focus stats to unlock the gear focus, it could be better there was some wiggle room to make hybrid builds while only needing 4-ish pieces of gear with stats required to unlock gear focus.
The combat enemies seem to scale weirdly, like they have way more dodge and accuracy than they should.
Some combat affixes are acting weirdly and allowing players and enemies to do insane damage or no damage.
Healing is required for everything on here, you have to have it, the combat mechanics don't work without it, there is no potions or consumables for people without the vampire stats.
Games still cool, but it doesn't have a world map, so i can't travel around or build a house or castle and siege other players in a conquest mode ontop of the idle thing.

It's an idle game inspired by Idle Hacking: An Inactive RPG. Well, that's not the problem - it doesn't just use same core mechanics (that's fine) but also uses pretty much identical layout, just with different theme, names (since it's fantasy), etc... on some screens it's acceptable, but some screens could have been made differently so it doesn't feel like copy/paste. Anyway, played the game on website (since you cannot activate premium subscription through steam) and was rank #2 till today. I was actively filling bug reports, providing suggestions and many of them were implemented. Unfortunately as I've seen it before, it's very easy to get on the bad side of this developer named Isaac. He was doing significant re-balances every day, some features even completely removed. Constantly claimed he has simulations and everything is balanced but the reality is that out of maybe 12 playable builds (named "focuses") there are maybe 1-2 worth playing. And this meta was shifting every day or two as he was actively nerfing the fun out of the game and banning players who complained about it on the go. Now I am banned too:) I was clearly triggering him with some of my bug reports and it was impossible to make him realize that some key mechanics of some builds don't work at all. I felt it few days ago when he reacted to one of my suggestions initially that he won't do it only to do it few minutes later anyway (because it was good suggestion) but complained that I'm "forcing" him. He clearly didn't like it. Today was obviously my turn. After he made an update that broke things again me and other players asked for free talent reset and he gave it. I used it to fix my build immediately. Unfortunately about 30 minutes later another update arrived that broke the build I switched into. I kindly asked if he could give us another reset as this update broke things again to which he replied that he already did. Next thing that happened was I was banned from discord and then also game in seconds after I wrote that "I meant the latest changes moments ago that broke the build I switched into". So, my advice for everyone is to avoid this game. The idea behind it is not bad, but the execution by an immature developer is tragic. Better check Idle Hacking as it's running smoothly and with way more features, while the core of the game is the same (streak mechanic, combat, professions, crafting, events, leaderboards, all the gear stats are just renamed) and it doesn't have the annoying parts that sound nice on paper ("focuses" enabling specific builds) but there is none that really works and the dev is unable to fix them, or even accept the fact they are broken even when he's shown a combat log. Still, was a fun for few days before he started disassembling the game (entire section of upgrades got removed today without any compensation - imagine it as if you were able to get to level 1000 three days ago, level 500 two days ago and level 300 today... the progression goes backwards despite of your character level being higher), Alright, that's all. Now I'm going to check Idle Hacking (was playing both as I like this type of text mmo).
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GAME !!!! Game owner is a scammer and bans paying players for giving feedback. Game is broken, laggy, not balanced and uses a stolen IP
try typing Idle Hacking in chat it will not let you and puts in things instead
I've been playing Idlemoor for a while now, and I honestly think it deserves more credit than it's getting. If you enjoy idle games, gear progression, player-driven economies, and a developer who actually listens to their community, Idlemoor is absolutely worth trying. The core gameplay loop of upgrading gear from doing combat quests, gathering resources automatically m, and trading through the community market is surprisingly addictive. There's always something to work toward, whether it's improving your resource gathering skills, or chasing better equipment, or taking advantage of the community driven market and crafting I highly recommend this game
👍🏻
loving this game!! Most of the negative reviews have like 1 hour or 0.1 hours and didn't even give the game a chance before saying its a clone.
