About
Idlemoor is a dark fantasy idle MMORPG set in a persistent online realm. Trade on the marketplace, fight in battlegrounds, defend the town in community events, and chat with fellow Wanderers! Infinite build possibilities, where each item is completely unique. Will your build be the best?
Choose how your character survives: fight enemies, train combat styles, gather resources, craft gear, trade with other players, fight against other players in PvP, and climb the competitive Elo rankings. Progress continues while you are away, but active players can make sharper decisions, react to community events & random events, manage the market, and push deeper into the world.
Persistent online progression
Your character keeps advancing over time through server-side saves and account-based progress.
Combat, training, gathering, and PvP battlegrounds
Fight players & creatures, improve combat stats, mine, woodcut, forage, skin animals, and build your character through multiple highly-connected complex gear & stat systems!
Player economy
Buy, sell, and trade through a shared marketplace where player activity shapes item movement. Each item is totally unique, and will never upgrade with identical stats. Build your character with multiple in-depth skill systems, as well as several stat and gear systems that connect to form a complex meta-game of infinite potential choices!
Community features
Chat with other players, compete on rankings, engage in community events every day, and take part in a persistent realm instead of a purely local idle game.
Idle Pacing
Idlemoor is built for long-term progression: short check-ins, longer grinds, rare drops, and slow accumulation of power.

AI clone of the game Idle Hacking. Avoid.
Blatant copy of the original game Idle Hacking. The dev stole the whole game idea, assets, UI etc and did minimal changes to make it "different". The game even asks you email verification for STEAM. It has premium features but it doesn't support steam wallet.. he dodges the payments via another payment provider. The only way to copy another game in so obvious way is using AI to scrap everything, that's another use of AI the dev didn't mention.
Guy just totally ripped off Idle Hacking and renamed some stuff. The issue is, he can only rip off the frontend because it's practically open source. However, the backend is not, and that's where all of the secret sauce goes in the idle game genre (the formulas for progressing, etc.). Basically, just go play the original.

The developer is constantly rebalancing his game and updating it, which sounds great, except the game is in it's officially launched state and every update he does is helping him learn how his game is coded. Because he's not the one who coded it. I queued for a battleground tonight and he was on the opposite team and wiped the floor with me, so I checked his gear. He had spawned himself a busted gear set. I mentioned it with a pretty cool attitude I feel like, and he got really defensive, citing he was testing stuff. I said I was just making sure I was playing a game with rules and integrity and not just a chat room with extra steps. And he blew up. Continued getting defensive. Said he's out here cranking out updates (breaking as much as he's fixing) for us and how dare I have the audacity to question his integrity. I was never really upset just wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting my time, but I'm quite certain at this point I was. This is going to be another one of those "solo indie developer stands in his own way" situation I think.
The game is a straight up copy of Idle Hacking. I still did enjoy it, breifly, but I was banned twice because the "developer" did not like me. And I quote "I don't want you in my game anymore". Oh, by the way, I was his biggest supporter monetarily. He didn't care. If you have any criticism, he will ban you. If you think that something is too strong or too weak, he will ban you. If you mention Idle Hacking, he will ban you. He insists that he "runs thousands of simulations" but he doesn't. I don't even think he codes the game. He just stole it and uses AI to change things for him.
This particular game is not worth any time of anyones. It's a horrible idler it's interface is the lowest of the low. Play really any other idler than this one. A lot of the reviews mention idle hacking but I took 1 5min look at idle hacking and felt the same about it as I do about this one. Both are garbage.
Alright seems like after playing this game for several hours, I can give my honest take on this game (5hrs in browser, 10hrs in Mobile, 1hr in Steam) based on my experience... this is a hard pass for me too much RNG while you are at a time limit, once pass that time limit your account is practically softlocked or in their words enter a pity state, where you can only win 1 fight and lose again and again until you dig your self out of this hole, I express this concern to the chat and to the person that was tagged as game master, but after a heated discussion my 1st account got banned 2nd account I tried to do what the game wants me but again almost reached that time limit, I complained about the annoying mechanics and really tried to give feedback, but alas I got IP banned, now I have to use a VPN to at least try to enjoy the game and tried it on mobile... but nope too many UI issues, cant access the market place due to it snapping back to top, an overnight progress gone due to bug, I came back to a win streak of 0... 0 really? so now what? I can continue playing this game but I dont see any reason, I can try to play the game more but the game itself mechanically is not letting me or even enjoy it
Kinda unethical clone of Idle Hacking, but it legit brings new features and vibes. Obviously this is going to get review bombed into hell because of the copy-paste job they did, but lets be real, CoD is literally just Battlefield, and I would argue Idlemoor is LESS OF A CLONE than those two games, hacking vs rpg, pretty different- And it is clear the developer is already heading in a different direction. I wish them both luck in being their own game. But honestly, this has killed my vibe for both of the games a little, because now its clear they are just heartless spreadsheets anyone can copy paste. I am dead inside.
I played for several days since initial re-launch and some testing before this launch, disregard play time. Played outside of steam but I wanted to share my experience despite rarely using steam. Played until ~combat level 1300, rank 12 ish on leaderboard. The game plays alright enough for an idler. Expect to encounter some bugs, especially if playing from mobile as mobile isn't supported. There is a lot of frequent changes in the current state to many systems which can drastically shake up the meta and cause you to need to re-evaluate gear, and offline idle progress can bug out. Isaac (Dev) was quick to compensate when it happened after some review confirming it. That was a bit moot though, as I had made a comment in his discord for the game in response to another player loosely talking about the Idle Hacking clone situation (present in many other reviews) to the tune of "If it was originally copied, it is now a different game" which the other player agreed with. It seems he took great offense to my comment, as he replied, accused me of spreading lies, cited how he just spent 20 minutes digging through the database to help me with the 8 hours of offline idle progress I was meant to receive (something that is supposed to function anyway, as well as continued offline time being a continuous perk for the entire premium time duration, which I had paid for as well) and then banned me from the discord, deleting my message with the ban of course, and removing his response in regards to it, and subsequently banning me from the game shortly after. I have seen Isaac kick/ban others in discord, presumably, in relation to other chats focused around balancing as well as there were segments of missing chat amidst current chat and response by Isaac implying such. Be wary of supporting this dev, even if you are a paying customer you may catch a ban if he simply disagrees with a statement made or interprets it as a personal attack. Watch what you say if you want to stick around long term. Avoid no-no topics entirely and tread lightly with criticism/anything remotely negative. Game is alright outside of the bugs at times which can be frustrating, and has some interesting social features like a shared video viewing platform with a linked chat. Definitely better pbbg's out there. Game also allows cross-trading (obviously considering the d2jsp launch promo), I've seen this mentioned as a negative in terms of other idlers/PBBG games for some folks, so it's up to you to decide how you feel about this. Essentially what this means is those who are established in other games that allow it can trade currency in those games/on d2jsp for currency in this game to get ahead in Idlemoor. I would definitely avoid it if you plan to check in more often outside of steam/pc browser as the mobile experience is very different from device to device, even in forced desktop view mode. There is a decent catch up buff for those joining late, but a lot of people who already played since launch had uncapped XP gains from gear boost, and a recent update adds a hard diminishing return to multiple instances of xp bonus on gear. Dev is very active at least and engages with the community, despite being hyper sensitive about certain topics.
disgusting seeing this kind of blatant stealing, steam should take this game off the store immediately
