painful to play
Played this game just to unlock the golden dragon in idling to rule the gods. I found the game to be alright and I like the concept of running your own reastaurants and creating recipes, although unlocking ingredients was a chore and what you get from battles is random. The game feels like an unfinished side project and could use more polish.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game online connect doesnt work, IRTG bait gameplay
totally bugged and glitching left and right... like seriously, the click recogniction is outright horrible with around every 3rd or 4th click getting unnoticed during cooking battles and 90% of the time you're just checking if the processes you set up are still running how you wanted them to or if they randomly decided to totally go bonkers and ruin any form of streamlined progress you had in mind... best example would be the main character training, 7 skills that NORMALLY should work like this: 1st skill get's +1 then it starts working on the next skill untill all 7 got +1 and then start with the first skill again, basically keeping them all at the same level +-1 i can't even recall how many times i had to manually switch up which skill it's supposed to train to balance out outcomes like this: skill1: 140 skill2: 144 skill3: 138 skill4: 147 ... it get's even worse with the dish research once you get 2 simultanous researches and dare to go offline for some time, because the game apparently is too dumb to keep in mind that you're researching quality AND speed in equal steps and just pumps most of the offline progress in 1 research at a time and randomly stops the second research completely... like setting all recipes to a "switch to next" setting of 40 and the dish you need for the next story restaurant at 0/0 (infinite) normally you'd come back to all being 40 and the last dish in question being at 50/50, 60/60 or any other equal research depending on how long you were gone, but nope, instead you come back to something like: all at 40 and the last dich being at something like 80/16 and only 1/2 researches being active... so yea, if you're just picking it up to get that extra pet for ITRTG then i'd highly advise looking for other means of getting that pet because the intended wway with this game here will only lead to absurd frustrations... i might as well try to progress a bit further the intended way but i'm already pretty sure that i'll drop this garbage long before reaching stage 30 if it won't undergo some searious fixing in the meanwhile...
I've played this game for 3,300+ hours and continue to play it because I have a problem :B Don't be like me. ... That Golden Dragon pet in ITRTG is really nice though... But no! Don't give in to the temptation! Or if you do, drop the game as soon as you get it!
There's an idea here, a good idle cooking / restaurant management game could work really well, but the execution here is extremely flawed.
Meh game.. what makes it instant thumbs down is the tatics used by the dev. They have another game and in order to progress in the other game you have to play this game, that tatic alone makes this game an instant thumbs down. So stupid to force players to play another one of your games to progress in another game you make, I bet they pitch that they have more players than they actually do based on this forced playing. Due to forced played I stopped playing both games and will avoid any and all games by this developer. Some may say but its free and you don't have to do it.. well no if it was free and they wanted people to check out idle cooking emperor they wouldn't have tied it to going to stage 30 from 1 all the way to 30 just to unlock it from what i understand 30 is the last stage.. so you basically are forcing people to play the entire game once.. they would have it unlock at something reasonable ie maybe stage 10? but to make you play days or longer is forced gameplay to me. For those that are playing this meh forced game for the pet.. you want to get at least 5 max menu's on dishes and 5 max ingredients, 300% training, 300% current income other things of course will help but thats sort of bare bones minimum I would think that is needed to get to and beat stage 30. Staff stats are basically worthless unless you play longterm and research is mixed its good but it also costs money which you need 6.66 billion to challenge stage 30. If you got training and income to 400% and maybe 300% research I would think that most people would be able to do this reasonable then. so your first 225 cooking medals should probably go into raising training and income with cooking ingredients to 5 asap as thats needed to progress stages. I think it was like stage 20ish that you needed 5 ingredients to make curry.
