Got this on sale, and I've already gotten my money's worth. I had a source of frustration too complex to detail here. Within a week of me submitting a bug report, it was fixed. I don't think I'm the cause of the fix but it's a good sign ----------------------------- The game itself is a bit of a weird bird. It feels a lot like Ark Survival Evolved crossed with No Man's Sky, without the constant annoyances of both 'games'. There are three modes: Open World, Outpost, and Missions. Open World is your standard survival experience. Outpost is the same but without enemies. Mission is exactly what it sounds like. I've only done Missions so far, and they're super-focused activites of a short-to-medium length. You get dropped off to the planet via a droppod, and then leave via the dropod when you're done. The progress is handled through your skill/tech tree. I've had a blast so far. The only thing 'bad' thing is that the animal animations are a bit janky and they ragdoll when they die, which can break immersion for a split second. Some people find that kind of thing funny so they might even enjoy that. Grab it on sale and it's a steal.
