There are some impressive mechanics to the game but it does have some issues. 1. It is a very slow start with lots of grinding and you'll want to watch a bunch of YouTube videos to help you level your character faster. 2. It's a bit of a time sync to get to anything interesting by survival game standards. The up side is that you only have to level a character once and then just play that character. 3. It's not Ark Survival Evolved - OK, that's a bit cheeky to say, but seriously, Ark SE is a much better game overall. This is only something I'd recommend if you're all played out on Ark. The game feels as if design decisions were made to be consistent with a theme rather than optimized for great gameplay. Systems are great to have in design, but if it drags your game down, toss it. The first rule of product management is to prioritize the success of the product, not your design philosophy. I'll give the dev team credit for all the updates and expansions they've made, but it feels like elements of the core gameplay need more attention, especially for new players. I can only sort of recommended it. It's game I've played only because I currently have lots of free time and I'm willing to grind.
