"... developed for developers." What do you mean? "Use the night vision, rean, slide and other..." Rean? I didn't find any drainage in the game. The creators probably meant lean as it is an action we can do. I hate when no proofreading is done before release. If you scroll down a bit on the store page you can even see the formatting markup tags. Come on! The title says it all. It is a Slenderman clone where we had to collect 8 pages. Only on one specific level, though. The concept is the same here. Why not dolls? Or Ouija board pieces? Why not more or less? Do you really need to so blatantly copy something? Ever played Outlast? The first-person survival horror where you're equipped with a camera and you use night vision for visibility and also collect batteries? This game copies that one, too, so much so that the HUD is almost identical to Outlast. Actions such as leaning and zooming are completely unnecessary as you rarely see the enemy and instead you get to experience a lot of flickering. But for some reason they included sliding and jumping over obstacles. After collecting half the pages I came across slenderman only once or twice. What I saw was confirmation that the monster was copied from the Arrival game as it looks identical and at other instances it quickly disappeared or it was simply stuck in the wall. In the original game making progress became more and more tense as you found more pages. Here only the music changes slightly. I played for 15 minutes and before I could find the 6th page some fog-like entity grabbed me and it was game over. I appreciate that it is free but it is an awful game, nonetheless. Probably something experimental before O369Studio releases another product. Hope that one will have some original ideas.
KOSTENLOS
"I'mitation The Eight Suicide Note" ist ein kurzes kostenloses First-Person Horror-Spiel. Slenderman or something... I dunno i'm not british

one of the worst games i ever played
Mix of outlast and slenderman basically. I really don't like those slenderman games. This game is sadly neither fun nor scary like Outlast is, it's just boring and annoying like slenderman. Plus I searched pretty much the whole map and couldn't find two notes and then, seemingly randomly, died, the slender dude wasn't even close or in sight.
outlast with slenderman, if you've played horror games before its not to spooky. Its more challenging
"I'mitation The Eight Suicide Note" is a lazy asset flip, a bunch of Unity assets thrown in a blender to make yet another first person horror jumpscare asset flip. At least they're not trying to scam gamers into paying money for this. Regardless, asset flips are awful whether you have to pay for them or not. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
