Just finished this game up and its a wonderful experience, especially a wonderful free one! Took me about 6 hours to trudge through and collect sweet sweet rent money but I'm 100% gonna be double backing, as there was plenty of content I didn't even touch. I forgot to even enter the Casino. Plenty of content, very fun combat in my personal opinion and i absolutely adored the characters and the general story. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot!
Probably the best rpg ive played, or the best designed. Demonstrates a deep love and understanding of the many systems it employes, and while some are in its most basc form (the equipment system for example), the depth that been put into it makes it so there is some merit to considering what kind of encounters you are going to face in a certain scenario/dungeon/bossfight and changing your equipment according to that. Beyond that the way stats, and money are interchangeable and money can be spent by the mc for very powerful effects(none of them are insta win giga damage brainless tho) makes it so theres a constant background decision making regarding what to spend it on. Add some top writting, quite an unique take on modern fantasy and open gameplay, great side events, serial killers(theres one that attacks people that leave public bathrooms in a bad state) and [REDACTED], there is a lot to love about it. Plus it seems there are going to be a few main routes to the game with major differences. So, if you like turn based rpgs this is a MUST. Do be aware, theres little to no handholding on this one.

I Love this game's message, in a world in which a human basic necessity is commodified people have to risk their lives in order to just have a home.
the good stuff: combat its pretty decent when you get the party members, the system to level up stuff are quick and simple the writing is pretty good too all the dialogue feels natural and the main cast is pretty likeable and it has pretty decent worldbuilding and it does it in a natural way the bad: the artstile is the weakest part just kinda bad, the tower is pretty underutilized you can get cool items but in like 3 to 4 levels you can get what you want and not touch it again and yeah its feels incomplete, because it is its pretty noticiable when you cant access like half the job boards, ands the items have the tipical rpgmaker problem of barely making a difference needing to buy something like teo tiers higher to make a difference overall the game manages to outweight its cons some may think that the game is poorly designed but struggling at the start is kinda the kinda the point(just look at the title) Im looking forward to the complete release(i thing its just gonna be uploaded on itch.io so check out the game there)
i really love the game's story and its simple but fun game mechanics. It's a un¨complete¨ product but even so it gives you the complete experience. Really looking forward to future uppdates. -Chara (PS dev: can you fix kyrie's vengence attack so it scales more per health missing and also increase her true strike but add more health loss to it making it a hi risk high reward. In addition i got a example but not need, if possible to make ramona's money toss deal something between 200-300 once she reach a certain level but thaat the cost is much greater and that it's damage is stuck att 150 while all buisness is active. love your work and legbtq+ representation) thx-Chara
a fun experience, great characters, very much looking forward to the full version
played through itch.io. waiting to buy the complete version.
Before I played I Hate You, Please Suffer - Basic, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
