Maybe it is because I don't really have a fondness of bees, but it's really just a miss for me. The bees are hidden for sure, but mostly because they don't stand out much. I guess that's the point. Anyway, found some bees and stuff. If you want to find bees, this is a way to do it.
The continuing saga of bee games, all good.

Developed by Follow the fun and published by Follow the fun, I commissioned some bees 4 is a relaxing hidden-object game that demonstrates how a simple concept can become surprisingly captivating when paired with creativity and strong artistic direction. The game revolves around a single objective: finding hidden bees scattered throughout a collection of detailed illustrations. There are no elaborate mechanics, dramatic storylines, or competitive systems. Instead, the experience focuses entirely on observation, patience, and appreciation of artwork, creating a calm and enjoyable journey that feels refreshingly different from many modern games. At its core, the game embraces simplicity. Players are presented with a series of handcrafted scenes created by various artists and tasked with locating bees cleverly concealed within them. This straightforward design makes the game immediately accessible. There is no lengthy tutorial or complicated ruleset to learn. Within moments, players understand the objective and can begin exploring the artwork. The accessibility is one of the game's greatest strengths because it allows anyone to enjoy the experience regardless of gaming background. The visual presentation is undoubtedly the centerpiece. Each scene is produced by a different artist, resulting in a wide range of styles, themes, and creative approaches. Some illustrations are whimsical and colorful, filled with playful details and imaginative characters. Others are more abstract or surreal, inviting players to study unusual shapes and patterns while searching for hidden insects. This diversity keeps the game feeling fresh throughout its entire runtime and ensures that each stage offers something visually distinct. What makes the artwork particularly effective is how naturally it integrates the hidden bees into the environment. Rather than simply placing objects in obvious locations, the game encourages players to carefully inspect every part of a scene. Bees are often disguised through clever use of color, perspective, or visual clutter. Some are immediately noticeable, while others blend seamlessly into their surroundings. This balance creates a satisfying rhythm where moments of quick discovery are followed by more deliberate investigation. The hidden-object gameplay itself is remarkably engaging despite its apparent simplicity. As players progress through a level, finding the first few bees often feels easy. The challenge gradually increases as fewer remain undiscovered, requiring greater concentration and attention to detail. This progression creates a rewarding sense of accomplishment because every bee found feels earned rather than handed to the player. One of the most appealing aspects of I commissioned some bees 4 is its relaxed pace. There are no time limits forcing players to hurry, no penalties for taking too long, and no fail conditions waiting around the corner. The game allows players to engage entirely at their own speed. This freedom transforms the experience into something almost meditative. Searching becomes less about winning and more about enjoying the process itself. The game also encourages players to appreciate the artwork beyond its role as a puzzle. While scanning each scene for hidden bees, players naturally begin noticing countless small details created by the artists. Background elements, character designs, visual jokes, and decorative flourishes all contribute to making the illustrations feel alive. In many ways, the game functions as both a hidden-object challenge and a showcase for independent digital art. The interface complements the minimalist design perfectly. Menus are straightforward, controls are intuitive, and the overall presentation remains clean and uncluttered. Nothing distracts from the central activity of exploring the artwork. This simplicity ensures that players can focus entirely on the search without dealing with unnecessary systems or interruptions. Another notable strength is the game's flexibility. It works equally well as a brief distraction during a short break or as a longer relaxation session. Some players may complete individual stages quickly, while others may spend extended periods carefully examining every corner of an illustration. The lack of pressure allows each person to approach the game according to their own preferences. The soundtrack contributes significantly to the atmosphere. Soft, unobtrusive music plays in the background, creating a soothing environment that complements the visual design. The audio never becomes overwhelming or distracting. Instead, it reinforces the calm tone that defines the entire experience and helps maintain a sense of comfort throughout the search. For players who enjoy completionist challenges, the game provides a surprising amount of satisfaction. Finding every hidden bee can become genuinely addictive, particularly when only one or two remain undiscovered. The search often evolves into a careful process of elimination, forcing players to reexamine areas they thought they had already fully explored. The eventual discovery of a particularly elusive bee creates a rewarding feeling that keeps players engaged until the very end. Despite its strengths, the game's narrow focus inevitably limits its appeal. Those looking for deep mechanics, extensive progression systems, or narrative-driven content may find the experience too lightweight. The gameplay never evolves beyond hidden-object searching, and while that activity is executed extremely well, it remains the sole focus of the game. The relatively short runtime may also be disappointing for players seeking a larger experience. Most people will likely complete the available content within a few hours. Although the quality remains consistently high throughout, the game prioritizes concise enjoyment over long-term progression. There are also moments when the difficulty can become uneven. Certain bees are hidden so effectively that players may spend considerable time searching for a single remaining object. While these moments contribute to the challenge, they can occasionally test patience. Fortunately, the relaxed atmosphere prevents frustration from becoming a major issue. What ultimately makes I commissioned some bees 4 successful is its dedication to doing one thing exceptionally well. Rather than adding unnecessary features, it refines its central concept and focuses on creating an enjoyable hidden-object experience supported by beautiful artwork. The game understands that simplicity can be a strength when executed with care and creativity. I commissioned some bees 4 is a charming and thoughtfully designed title that celebrates observation, art, and relaxation. Its diverse collection of illustrations, satisfying search mechanics, accessible gameplay, and calming atmosphere combine to create an experience that is easy to enjoy and difficult to dislike. While its limited scope means it will not satisfy every type of player, those who appreciate hidden-object games, digital artwork, or cozy gaming experiences will find a great deal to enjoy. It is another successful entry in a series that continues to prove that even the smallest ideas can deliver memorable experiences when crafted with passion and attention to detail. Rating: 8/10
