bees.
Developed by Follow the fun and published by I commissioned some series, I commissioned some bees 2 is a hidden object game that embraces simplicity and transforms it into its greatest strength. The entire experience revolves around locating hundreds of cleverly concealed bees scattered throughout large, detailed illustrations. There are no complicated mechanics, no elaborate storyline, and no intense challenges designed to test reflexes. Instead, the game focuses entirely on observation, patience, and the quiet satisfaction that comes from gradually uncovering every hidden insect within beautifully crafted artwork. The concept may sound extremely straightforward, but the execution is surprisingly effective. Each level presents a large hand-drawn scene packed with visual details, decorations, creatures, and environmental elements. Hidden among these illustrations are numerous bees waiting to be discovered. Players are free to zoom in, explore every corner of the artwork, and carefully search for targets at their own pace. This unrestricted approach creates a relaxed atmosphere where curiosity becomes the primary motivation rather than competition or progression pressure. One of the game's most impressive qualities is the quality of its artwork. Every illustration is filled with imaginative details and distinct visual themes that encourage close inspection. The artists have clearly designed the environments not only to look appealing but also to create clever hiding places for the bees. Some insects are immediately noticeable, while others blend seamlessly into the scenery, rewarding players who take the time to examine every section of the image. The illustrations are rich enough that even after finding dozens of bees, players often continue discovering amusing background details they previously overlooked. The act of searching itself becomes surprisingly engaging. Each successful discovery creates a small but satisfying sense of accomplishment, especially when locating one of the more elusive bees. The game constantly encourages players to slow down and observe carefully. Unlike many modern games that emphasize speed and action, I commissioned some bees 2 finds enjoyment in a much calmer style of interaction. The process of scanning environments, recognizing patterns, and gradually reducing the number of remaining bees becomes unexpectedly addictive. A major factor contributing to the game's appeal is the sheer amount of content contained within its collection of illustrations. With well over a thousand bees hidden throughout multiple scenes, completion requires genuine dedication. Each artwork can occupy players for extended periods, particularly if they attempt to locate every bee without relying on assistance. This substantial number of hidden objects ensures that the experience offers more longevity than its simple premise might initially suggest. Accessibility is handled particularly well. The game avoids punishing players for becoming stuck and instead provides tools that allow everyone to progress comfortably. Helpful features such as zoom functionality and optional hints ensure that frustration rarely becomes overwhelming. Players can approach the game casually, spending only a few minutes searching, or dedicate entire sessions to methodically clearing every illustration. The flexible design makes it suitable for a wide range of audiences, including younger players and those simply looking for a relaxing experience. The atmosphere plays an important role in maintaining engagement. Soft music and ambient sounds accompany the artwork, creating a calming environment that complements the slow-paced gameplay. Rather than distracting from the search process, the audio quietly supports it. Combined with the colorful visuals, the soundtrack helps establish a cozy mood that encourages players to settle in and enjoy the experience at their own pace. Visually, the game demonstrates that strong artistic direction can be more valuable than technical complexity. The illustrations are vibrant, expressive, and packed with personality. Each scene feels handcrafted, with careful attention given to both aesthetics and gameplay functionality. The dense visual design ensures that players are constantly discovering new details, making every illustration feel alive despite the absence of animation-heavy presentation. The game's minimalist design does come with certain limitations. The core gameplay remains largely unchanged from beginning to end. Players search for bees, click on them, and continue searching. There are no major mechanical evolutions, narrative developments, or significant surprises waiting later in the experience. For fans of hidden object games, this consistency is part of the appeal. However, players seeking variety or deeper gameplay systems may find the repetition difficult to overlook after several levels. Another potential drawback is the game's highly specialized appeal. It is clearly designed for players who enjoy relaxing puzzle experiences and observational challenges. Those looking for action, strategic decision-making, character progression, or storytelling will likely find little here to maintain their interest. The game understands its niche and commits to it completely, which helps it succeed within its intended audience but limits its broader reach. Some players may also question whether the concept offers enough innovation compared to similar entries within the hidden object genre. The formula remains intentionally straightforward, and much of the experience relies on the quality of the artwork rather than introducing new mechanics. Fortunately, the illustrations themselves are strong enough to justify the approach, providing enough visual variety to keep the search process entertaining. What ultimately makes I commissioned some bees 2 successful is its confidence in delivering a focused experience. It never attempts to be more complex than necessary. Instead, it concentrates on providing charming artwork, rewarding observation, and a stress-free atmosphere. Every design decision supports those goals, resulting in a game that feels remarkably polished despite its simplicity. I commissioned some bees 2 is a perfect example of a title that understands its audience. It offers a relaxing escape built around beautiful illustrations and satisfying discovery rather than challenge or competition. While its repetitive nature and niche appeal may not resonate with every player, those who enjoy hidden object games, cozy experiences, and detailed artwork will find plenty to appreciate. It is a small but thoughtfully crafted game that succeeds by focusing entirely on what it does best. Rating: 8/10
