Frankly terrible. Don't bother with it.
"I Am The Prosecutor: No Evidence? No Problem!" is not a game, it's an e-book/Choose Your Own Adventure ("Visual novel" is another term that writers use when trying to disguise an e-book as a game) that's been launched on Steam as a game, despite not being one. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, coupled with a few largely pointless question/prompts that don't suddenly turn this into a proper interactive video game or anything. To explain how this non-game got here, when someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This one is a terribly written CYOA with a legal theme and some mediocre anime themed writing. This e-book was slapped together with the godawfully bad RenPy Visual Novel/E-Book construction kit, so just like no professional writing took place here, no professional game development took place either, it's just a product of filling out templates in the construction kit. Due to the decision to use such a lazy, poor quality construction kit, this e-book doesn't have customisable resolution or any graphics tweaks, it won't display at your monitors native resolution and generally looks bad. It's not up to basic standards. Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then translate that to a format where the words dribble out and you have to click your mouse every time you wanted to read the next sentence, instead of just turning the pages. You'd think it was garbage. Now imagine that experience, but with much worse writing (because if these guys could write professionally, they'd be published authors and this would be on shelves in bookstores, and they wouldn't have to pay Valve $100 to self-publish this on Steam), and you have your average Steam e-book. While this is free, it's bad, and badly written. A basic requirement for me to recommend games to people is that they have to be games... and this e-book isn't a game at all. My gaming rig is not a Kindle. If you're on Steam but not looking for games, but are looking for free, high quality, well written e-books, Project Gutenberg has literally thousands, all much better than this.
funni dialogue and sussy amogus reference
"BAD ENDING" My honest reaction to that information: https://youtu.be/gDjMZvYWUdo
As expected, it's just like Phoenix Wright if he were a K-Pop star with a cussing problem. It's fun for 49 cents or so, but it's short like a demo, and the characters seem pretty random as do their pics. The music choices work pretty well and the dialog isn't bad. It has what to me is a good social message. It shows that it's possible to make more visual novels in the Phoenix Wright pattern without becoming too cliche.
I gave this game multiple chances but it just keeps getting worse. It's obvious the dev has never come close to any courtroom or lawyer in their entire life. This VN is pure embarrassment.
Well, the game is... ok(?), pretty good when it comes to quality x price, I mean, the game is reeeeally cheap, so yeah, totally worth paying, and the game is also short, so you don't have to worry about "wasting your time"
