This game used to be fantastic. It was my favourite game for a while and I can not describe how much fun I used to have, especially playing with friends. The Gun Handling, the design, the world, the AI,, it was fun and intense and felt very rewarding. But it changed. And not for the better. Bad balancing choices, bad updates, more events, more skins more problems that just exist because Crytek created them by trying to fix other problems that crytek created by trying to fix even other problems that they created to begin with. They change balancing on things nobody asked for and refuse to balance things that continue to break game after game played. The Officer Carbine is considered a three point weapon while the Springfield is considered four points? The Maynard Sniper Silencer is five points for some reason? Instead of fixing or balancing weapons that caused problems they implemented a whole new system around ALL equipment which only made thing even worse. Taking consumables and tools and merging them? Solos running around with 6 different types of Traps and Beetles they can use to annoy you without even having to risk being seen seems fair just to balance something that most people did not even consider a problem. Most lobbys in high elo are not even full at this point becasue there are not enough decent players left. Why? Because a lot of the people that loved this game, that made this game grow are leaving. I know change is important and new updates keep a game alive. But saying crytek overdid it is a massive understatement. But they can see their numbers. Maybe I am the problem. But at this stage I can not recommend this game any longer
This game could actually be really good if it wasn t completely infested with cheaters. The developers clearly don t give a damn about the issue and seem to do absolutely nothing to address it. It completely ruins the experience and turns what could be a great game into an absolute piece of garbage. On top of that, they don t even care when you report someone with video evidence. I uploaded an unlisted video to YouTube showing clear proof that the player was cheating, and the video didn t get a single view other than my own. That alone shows that they don t even bother investigating reports when you provide actual evidence. Every single time, you just get an automated reply and nothing else.Instead of fixing the main issue, they just keep adding new DLC...
Garbage game. Don't waste your time like I did. First of all, the matchmaking is a joke. When you're a 3★ player getting matched against 6★ players, the game becomes absolutely unplayable. Since the player base isn't large enough, this happens far too often. Another major problem is the weapon balancing. A bow can one-shot you from like 20 meters away, while a shotgun can't even kill someone from 10 meters? That's ridiculous. A buckshot shotgun can't secure a headshot kill from 20 meters, yet a tiny derringer can somehow headshot you from 100 meters. What a joke. The latest update also made some weapons nearly unusable because of the severe ammo scarcity. I understand the developers wanted to balance the game, but drastically reducing ammo was not the right solution. The last thing I'll mention is the progression and reward system. It's simply broken. There is virtually no reason to prestige unless you really care about a handful of weapon skins. There's also almost no incentive to fight over the game's main objective—the bounty. It rewards so little that most players only go for it because they want the PvP fights. If your goal is to progress and earn Hunt Dollars, you're actually better off avoiding other players and just running around the map collecting loot. Lastly, the new Hunt Dollar crates are a joke. You drag one across half the map to an extraction point only to receive a measly 100 Hunt Dollars. It's an awful reward. It would have been far more interesting if the developers had added rare Blood Bond crates that rewarded 1–5 Blood Bonds along with some Hunt Dollars. That would have made the whole mechanic much more worthwhile. Final verdict: I had some fun playing, but most of the time I was frustrated and simply didn't enjoy the game. It's a shame because I really like the concept, but the developers don't seem interested in making meaningful improvements. Instead, they focus on releasing stupid skins and battlepasses rather than actually fixing the game's core mechanics or addressing the countless bugs that have been around for far too long. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this game.
The developers do nothing to ban the cheaters, they act like its not a problem. At the lower MMR its not, however 6 stars is terrible and there are know cheaters that even say it on their profile and game dev's are to lazy to do anything about it. Steam doesn't do anything about it either.
I have around 20k hours of various videogames. This game is uniquely terrible. The Graphics are HORRIBLE (never seen graphics act as such a detriment to gameplay), movement is clunky, and I'd say hitboxes are bad but I honestly couldn't tell you, because past 50 meters, you can't see them anyways! This is the only game I have ever played where I have consistently ended the session thinking "Wow, I didn't enjoy one single aspect of that." TLDR: Graphics, movement, and hitboxes are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, gunplay largely ruined by this (and the dev's apparent misunderstanding of what "Semi-Auto" means, least enjoyable experience I've ever had gaming.
I am so fu tired to play against solo 6 star's, I want to play against teams of my noob rank, why the fu you added solo to the teams? Is it funny? Is it challenging? No it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unfair and waste of hunt dollars. In general game is fun when you have opponets of the same skill, but for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I put dislike
MAKE MY DAY :D
