HumanitZ is an isometric, open-world sandbox survival game set in a world ended by a zombie outbreak. Survive alone or with friends by scavenging, crafting, building, and fighting to last as long as ‘humanly’ possible. You can’t change the past, but you can fight for the future of humanity.

Everything is real and you are a Joke, so survive and gather resources and build as much as you can!
I thought the last stand aftermath and atom RPG was the best isometric game i have ever played until i stumbled on this game, this game tops them. I like the idea that this will take you forever to play. I have just want to see this done: please polish more how the character interact with things like cutting trees. gassing cars, etc as this game focus on character. I have a recommendation: like if you invite a real people to play this, and you both have bases, you can visit each other's bases but you can not loot their build storage's only the common lootable things like any other buildings and that is vice versa, and you can do trade, if they log out or out of connection while you are together their character will go home or something. Second recommendation: please can you make trees grow again for example they start small and with amount of time they grow big and can be cut again, cause i play this game and kinda deforest around my base. My most concern and my wish to be optimize: I have the new valve steam machine, this is the unit I am playing this game, can you please optimize the device. I played the tutorial 3 times before playing the actual game and it is in max settings, 2k, all ultra, 60 fps, no stutters or lag. I am very happy I can play this great game on max settings but when i try to play the actual game, i can only put it to high, 2k resolution and it stutters, barely hit the 60 fps. If i go any lower, it will be a crime for me. Since the tutorial is optimize on my device maybe you can optimize it on the actual game. Its ok if the above statements can not be done but just this to optimize on my device, I will appreciate it a lot. maybe this is just me asking this but I hope to be heard. Thanks for these amazing games though, I am seeing myself playing this for a very long time.
Nah
HumanitZ wants to be the isometric zombie survival game that finally dethrones Project Zomboid, and the foundations are genuinely there. From wilderness to dense cities, scavenging, crafting, base-building, companion animals, and a skill tree to shape your survivor all sit ready and waiting to become something special. My friends and I poured hundreds of hours into this game on the strength of that potential, extending it chance after chance, and what we got in return was an education in how thoroughly bad-balancing can sabotage good ideas. Consider the progression, which someone presumably designed while actively resentful of the people who would have to play it. You earn a single skill point per level, and the perk that grants a whopping 10% extra health demands four of those points, meaning four full levels of grinding for a bonus so marginal you will forget you have it. Levelling itself requires thousands of experience points, while quests reward you a pitiful 300XP, so the only realistic path forward is slaughtering zeeks by the truckload. Then you die, your accumulated experience evaporates back to zero, and you discover that the standard respawn mode inflicts most of the agony of permadeath while withholding any of the bragging rights that might have justified it. The weapons deserve their own indictment, because the game flatly refuses to tell you anything useful about them. The Lorry revolver and the Desert Vulture share an ammo type, yet there is no stat sheet anywhere explaining which one actually hits harder, leaving you to guess your way through firefights via vibes and superstition. This is a game built on combat that cannot be bothered to quantify its own guns. The quest design, meanwhile, achieves a special kind of catastrophe. My friend lost the USB drive required to download data inside the lab, and because there is no mechanism anywhere to reset a quest, returning to the quest giver accomplished precisely nothing. His questline simply ended there, permanently bricked, for the remainder of our time with the game. Adding insult to that injury, finishing a quest does not prompt the giver to hand you the next one immediately. You have to come back tomorrow, in-game, which incentivizes plopping an outpost beside every quest giver purely so you have somewhere to stand around burning time while the game decides it is ready to acknowledge your existence again. There is a real and frequently-lovely game flickering somewhere beneath all of this, which is exactly what makes the experience so maddening. HumanitZ had everything it needed to surpass its inspiration and chose instead to drown those ideas in bugs, baffling design decisions, and balancing math that nobody appears to have tested. Hundreds of hours of giving It the benefit of the doubt: 3/10
Game is peak, 100% a good time

This is a really fun experience with a lot of thought put into it. It has a few kinks to work out. Even with a solid 100+fps there's a fair bit of stutter even on a decent machine. I have encountered a few bugs, my action bar stopped working so I had to reload for example. And the camera and controls need looking at, they feel really clunky and weird before you get used to them. There are too many objects you cannot deconstruct which leaves floating skeletons and plant pots in houses. Put it it this way, there is a lot of fun to be had but it feels like it should be on the last leg of beta testing rather than fully released.
Even better than Zomboid! I stream this for my viewers and they love it.
I go pew pew pew and smack zombies and craft stuff and more pew pew pew
