The game is a lot of fun trying to figure out which assortment of dudes will take you the farthest.
Fun and addictive game. Same title as the Bonnie Blue documentary.
Duuude its a nice game Duude
Many hours enjoyed, so definitely worth it, if you like similar games. Is it easy? Yes, Tier 1 (Level 105) is easy. I've cleared Tier 2 (Level 110 w/ harder floor rules), which is more challenging. Haven't tried Tier 3. Minor strategy spoilers: as an old WoW player, I started treating runs as a "build your 5-man dungeon group" rougelite. If my most recent run sounds fun to build, you'll like the game: Tank: Warlock (Fantasy), Healer: Chef (Employed), Utility: Vampire (Undead), DPS: Viking (Warrior), Bard (Fantasy). Over the course of 110 rounds, you manage income, buy the right relics, fight in an underground wrestling match, get food buffs, and position your group. Twenty Chef Dudes had the "Rizz" item giving the Viking and Bard 10% crit and evasion. It's that kind of game, and it's great.
its funny how gorillas arent even the biggest bad in this game lol
Cool Game in Theory, sadly as deep as a puddle
While the game itself is very fun, the progression system feels fundamentally flawed. If you want to use X, Y, and Z Dudes on a higher difficulty level, you will first need to fully complete a run with them on the lower difficulty level. There are a few major problems with this current implementation: 1) Each run consists of 105 rounds (on the lowest difficulty) and can take upwards of 30 minutes to complete (when at max game speed). 2) There are 42 Dude types available but you can only take 5 of them with you on a run 3) You will almost certainly end up with runs where 1 of the Dudes on your team has already completed a run on that difficulty 4) There is zero leniency. If you clear 104/105 rounds but lose to the final boss then tough luck. You will have to restart a new run on that difficulty all over again (so another half hour wasted). So even if you find the lowest difficulty level fairly easy, you will need to grind it repeatedly for multiple hours just to have the capability to play with all Dude types on the higher difficulty. Oh and did I mention that there is an even higher difficulty level above that (which will likely require the whole process to be repeated again) TLDR: Completing a difficulty level with 50% of the Dudes should be enough to unlock playing with all Dudes on the subsequent difficulty level.
