House Ghost

I change the type of the review into "Not recommended" because ten of my normal screenshots were deleted and I got a steam ban. Totally unfair as I didn't break any rules. There was no explicit content, violence or smth. Checked the store page, no screenshots at all now, perhaps the dev doesn't want any content to be revealed at all but why should I be limited in the way I play and be punished for nothing that's a huge question. Valve should really do smth with this ridiculous situation and their constant reply that devs may have their own rules on their store pages is outrageous. How can I know if I do anything wrong in this case?! That was a nice Halloween read. The novel is far from being perfect, so it's gonna be a neutral review but I still opt for a thumb up. So even if there're some imperfections, I mainly wish to ignore them in that case. +I always find art created by amateur/inexperienced artists especially appealing. It looks so unique and heartwarming. I hope I don't sound rude here, it's not like I know how to assess visuals but they still look kinda far from being too polished or perfect but at the same time truly pleasing to the eye like they were really created with love. I feel a tad unsatisfied frankly speaking but it was still engaging. +The price is low enough to give the game a try. [u] Complaints [/u]: --too many mistakes (typos?), imo. --I can't say I liked the writing here :( Welp, we were promised a slow-burn romance but the development of their relationship was kinda rushed and poorly-written anyway. I mean yeah, it took a considerable amount of time for them but all these days were too short, just a couple of sentences sometimes. I didn't get enough of the feel, emotional side wasn't really there for me. It feels like all the potential wasn't realized here. --all the female characters were infuriating. Sometimes I wonder if it's done deliberately in BL stories but one of them is mc's adopted daughter so you expect something nice, some cute family bond, nope, she was almost as unbearable as that terrible 'friend' mc had... So, it's an ok story for a reasonable price for this quality. I'd definitely like to see more games by this dev. Honestly, not the best but far from the worst <3

[были проблемы с интернетом, проходилось оффлайн, наиграно около двух часов, пройдено полностью с открытием всей галереи и проверкой вариаций] Короткая визуальная новелла, преимущественно линейная. Мне понравилась рисовка. Хорошие персонажи. Очаровательно показана семейная динамика между ними. Мило и забавно, хотя порой и несколько абсурдно (не в лучшем смысле слова). Общее повествование и романтическая линия на мой взгляд являются самыми слабыми сторонами игры. Само повествование немного рваное, особенно концовки. В игру вроде как вложен определённый лор, но его не раскрывают. Есть много моментов, про которые хочется знать больше, но их не поясняют даже одной-двумя фразами (хотя некоторые вещи можно было бы превратить во что-то действительно интересное и дополнить общий сюжет). Как я уже сказал, мне понравились персонажи и мне хотелось бы видеть их больше (я про всех). Я бы с радостью почитал какие-нибудь побочные сайд-стори из повседневной жизни героев (до, во время, после основного сюжета). Мне хочется знать о них больше. Но вот любовная линия и концовки настолько слабо прописаны при таком качественном фоне, что мне сложно ставить игре высокую оценку. Жаль что закончилась игра на такой слабой ноте.
