House Flipper is one of those games that I can somehow lose hours in without even realising it. I genuinely love renovating houses, and there is something incredibly satisfying about taking a run-down, disgusting property and slowly turning it into something that actually looks like a home. Cleaning, painting, knocking down walls, installing furniture and watching the whole place come together is easily my favourite part of the game. What I enjoy most is that the game gives you that feeling of actually accomplishing something. There is a weird satisfaction in looking at a room covered in dirt and rubbish and thinking, "Right, let's fix this." Even the smaller jobs can feel rewarding when you finally step back and see the finished result. However, House Flipper can also be surprisingly stressful. The moment a job starts giving me specific requirements from a client, the relaxing renovation simulator suddenly becomes a project-management exercise. Having to complete tasks within certain limits, use specific materials, put furniture in particular places, or satisfy oddly specific client expectations can make me feel like I'm trying to meet a deadline rather than renovate a house. Interestingly, I think my knowledge of retail logistics somehow helps me compartmentalise the game in ways I don't entirely understand. I find myself breaking jobs down into sections, prioritising what needs to be done first, organising tasks and mentally treating the whole renovation almost like a workflow. I don't know why my experience with retail logistics translates so well into flipping virtual houses, but apparently somewhere in my brain, "organise stock and complete operational tasks efficiently" is basically the same skill as "renovate this filthy virtual house." Overall, House Flipper is a great combination of creativity, organisation and oddly satisfying busywork. I love the freedom of renovating properties and seeing the results of my work, even if the client requirements and time pressures occasionally turn my relaxing house renovation into an incredibly stressful virtual shift at work. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys renovation, interior design, organisation, or just the satisfaction of taking something terrible and making it look good. Just be prepared for the occasional moment where you realise you've somehow turned a relaxing video game into a deadline-driven logistics operation.
청소만 하는 게임인줄 알았는데 인테리어도 해야해서 접습니다 다만 꾸미기 좋아하는 사람들에겐 재밌을 것 같아요
this is a great time killer for me. the hours go by painting and cleaning and installing all kinds of things. worth it totally.
getting touched by a pig has more action than this game
The Game is fun to play and I really enjoyed the core look, but locking mowing the lawn behind DLC feels shady. This should have been a basic feature of the game.
