5 short comics about the characters from the game, takes about 20 minutes to read all
"Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Digital Comic" is a digital comic advertising Hotline Miami 2. At least they didn't try to publish this on Steam as a game. There's any number of ways they could have published this comic... you know, like the obvious one, just put it up on the web. But no, they didn't do that, they put it on Steam as an application. Why this rather specific method of publication? Because it's an advert. I don't like adverts. Or, as advertisers might put it, "A free source of information about a product! You don't even need to pay for this information, we give it to you completely free!" This reminds me of the way Rockstar has such a strong anti-consumerist message in their games, but then go ahead and have a multimillion dollar advertising budget to try get people to buy their stuff. Also, this isn't a very good comic. Not even full colour. If you really love comics, well, first, why are you here, Steam is for games, and second, Marvel and DC both offer free issues you can read on their websites of much more professionally developed comics in the Marvel and Detective Comics universes. And they could afford coloured inks.
Я ничё не понял, но мне понравилось.
absolute cinema (but fr pretty good comics that expand on the story.)
read only for hot jacket man........so peak.......worth da read
Interesting, the comics have a very differents artstyle than the rest of the game. And a lot of the charactres act... kind of out of character, mostly Jake and the Ghost Wolves. The Fans and Martin are spot-on or at least similar in personality to the ones you see in the game. The comics are also super short, didn't realize they didn't spoil anyything in the game beacause it actually came out before the game. Good enough 7/10
