Hotfix is a chromosome enriched solo indie game inspired by Minecraft and Enter the Gungeon. Create your own - near infinite - world full of randomly generated structures filled with guns and loot. Explore, build, and gather resources during the day and avoid robotic "dogs" powering up at night.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

This is an OK free game, but it's a buggy unbalanced mess. Some of the issues I have found I hope get fixed: 1: achievements currently are not working 2: durability on tools is so low that is is not worth the time to make them 3: all owned guns of the same type, ALL take durability damage when one of them are used 4: enemies are bullet sponges - this would not be too bad, except that ammo takes a lot of resources to make enough to kill anything 5: iron in my world seemed to be very hard to obtain, despite being a critical crafting component 6: 'dogs' are not a real threat 7: items will not auto-equip into the held slot ... have to constantly swap between items to get something to be actively held 8: holding food, than putting the same food away into a container, results in food that can be eaten an unlimited amount of times. Works with pills as well. 9: items can be duplicated very easily :)

Almost recommended, only really worth it if an unpolished survival sandbox sounds appealing. First off, this feels like a prototype for a potentially fun game. It has a decent amount of content, such as combat, base building, food and hunger, and a good amount of world diversity. It doesn't give you any story or tutorial, so you're on your own to learn the game. The graphics are bad, needs an overhaul on the controller support and lacks basic options. Overall it needs a ton of work to stand up to similar games.
Before I played Hotfix, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
