I've done a lot of hours in this game, it was a fun, addictive little game, however with the recent updates, the micro-stuttering has become unbearable, to the point where it is very difficult to play and a bunch of new bugs have started happening (i5 12600k and rtx 3080, so it's not a hardware issue), plus it's also evident on my kids computers which are also more than capable with ryzen 5600 and 9600x). Most frustrating of all is the new leaderboard, great idea in theory, however because my high score previously was 3837 it's preventing me getting on the leaderboard, I'm fine for that score to not be counted given how much things have changed, however because there is no way to reset the high score, and it appears I can't get on the leaderboard until I beat that high score, I can't get on the board at all. I managed to get to 3517 on one run, so close and second highest according to the leaderboard at time of writing, but it didn't register because it didn't beat my previous high score. Very frustrating, and because of the stuttering and bugs, it's so difficult to get that high again. I also emailed the developers but haven't heard back, I understand it's the holiday period so I hope to hear from them soon, but until then I'm sick of sinking time into this game until they fix those glaring issues. Apparently they want to reset the high score each month, but if they don't fix this high score bug, and the micro stuttering, they'll quickly find more people getting frustrated with their game. I really like neebs and the gang, this is no reflection on them, I just want to be able to enjoy their game, which at the moment, I can't. So I can't recommend this game until they fix it. If they fix it, I'll happily come back and change my review.
