Fun and sneaky tough strategy game. It starts out simple enough, teaching you the game as you play the first few levels. The difficulty starts ramping up from there. You'll quickly find yourself passing a level, but just barely, earning a single star out of three. This keeps you moving forward to new levels but motivated to come back and replay previous levels to get those three stars. Lots of fun, challenging, and replayable. Highly recommended.
Fun to play. Either just dive in and start going for the high value dots, or make a strategy two or three moves ahead. Surprises often make me really think and plan ahead.
I follow a lot of indie devs on Twitter and Instagram, and this game popped up on my feed. I thought it was interesting because it wasn't another "2D pixel platformer" so I checked it out. Okay, so like most little indie games this game could probably use a little more graphics polish and I'm sure they'll be updates, but I gotta say, once you get into the game itself, it can be pretty addicting. I honestly thought I was going to breeze thru the levels because it looks fairly simple. All you gotta do is avoid the thumps and select the larger circle for the most points. Easy enough! Well, no. Aside from all that above you also have to be strategic about the colors you choose and try to plan ahead to get any bonuses. That's where things got challenging and addicting. You could be on track to win a round, but then get knocked out because your opponent racked in a bonus at the last minute. It was way more challenging that I thought. Plus, when you tend to lose due to a bad move, you can't help yourself to say "Well, one more quick game". I hope we see some future updates on this one...(and maybe a port to the Switch!)
