About
The world has ended. Homgard can’t be saved… but someone still needs to do the paperwork.
You move through the broken world by solving logic puzzles, each one revealing a little more of what was lost. Along the way you'll find heroes who hit snooze on destiny, gods who went to get snacks and never came back, and apocalyptic cults arguing over font sizes. Apparently, this is considered normal.
The story is already over.
So why does the world still feel like it’s waiting for you?
Solve puzzles to uncover what remains
Complete nonograms (also called picross) to reveal 25 unique regions and open new paths. It’s a world that’s happy to let you wander at your own pace.
675 handcrafted puzzles, with 6 new mechanics
A large collection of carefully handcrafted puzzles, from small and friendly to large and strange. Classic nonogram logic is expanded with varied grid shapes and coloured cells that play by different rules. Every puzzle is solvable without guessing.
Let the story unfold
Discover hundreds of short written stories that you slowly piece together into a greater mystery: royal conspiracies, ancient secrets beginning to stir, time agents meddling where they shouldn’t… and someone who's clearly here just for the drama. Read as much or as little as you like.
Cosy by default, as challenging as you like
No timers. No stress. Take it slow. Use optional assist features for a relaxed session, or turn them off for a purer logic challenge. Adjust colour palettes and font sizes to suit your eyes.
Book 1 of a larger saga
This is the first book in a four-part series: a complete, self-contained story, with much more waiting beyond the edges.
An in-world radio
Six different stations, each with its own vibe. Calm, strange, occasionally perfect.

An amazing collection of nonogram puzzles that makes wonderful use of it's unique rule sets that is also tied together by an amazing story told as you explore the regions that make up this fantasy kingdom.
Loving this game for the nonograms and the custom rulesets! Not a fan of the AI music, but I just have that muted for now.
是我错过什么了嘛,为什么4 dreamer core之后,不能解锁新地图,偌大的地图,只有1/4能去,剩下的都被锁住了,有一种游戏没做完,直接1.0的感觉
I don't usually write reviews for games this early on, but I'd rather write a premature review than no review at all, considering just how long this game seemingly would take to complete. Homgard is pretty much two different games within a single game. You could also say it's one game that has two separate game modes. At any event, you split your time between doing two things: doing nomogram puzzles and reading lore entries. Both are done quite well. This is honestly a pretty impressive achievement in world building, with a huge array of characters and locations. You essentially get to discover every little corner of a massive map, learning about the lives and happenings of a very important year in an interesting sort of magic technocracy. The setting is pretty unique and quite fun. It's just enjoyable to soak in the world. I think this portion of the game gets an A+. The nomograms are also done quite well. You have basic 5x5 puzzles that can eventually expand into pretty large grids. There are also 7 types of special cells that have new rules, which allows the somewhat basic nomogram premise to be stretched far beyond its conventional confines. I also think this is done quite well. With the giant map to unveil, you can take puzzles at your own pace, and it's satisfying to slowly uncover the map (and new lore) as you complete puzzles. I think the biggest tension in Homgard is that the two main gameplay thrusts, while integrated well, don't neccesarilly complement one another perfectly, and I'm not sure if all players are going to enjoy both. You have the option to essentially skip the lore and just do the puzzles if you want, but not the inverse. I actually like both sections of the game, but my biggest problem with Homgard is that it can feel hard to get into a flow of just doing one element, as you constantly alternate between puzzles and reading lore entries. There tends to be one lore piece per puzzle, and some puzzles can only take a few seconds to complete. It's not hard to do a bunch of puzzles in a row, as un-read lore entries are marked, so you can at least get into a flow there if you want to crank out a bunch of puzzles. Again, though, the inverse isn't possible. I think it's a relatively minor gripe, but I do wish Homgard catered to players that just want to experience the lore/Visual novel side of the game, as I think that aspect of Homgard is doing just as much as the puzzles are.
