Genuinely one of my favorite games of all time! - Awesome Soundtrack - Good Story - Fun Sandbox with some of the best Map design ever (both in gameplay and Visuals) - Fun dialogue - Based Devs for leaving fun Bugs in, but fixing game breaking ones (and for freeing themselves out of the corporate grip of Square Enix) (3 games in one so ALLOT of content) (Only thing i don't like is the Elusive Targets)

Recommended 👍 Bought this game expecting to be a professional assassin. 20 minutes later I’m dressed as a waiter, holding a fish, hiding in a bathroom because 14 armed guards somehow know I exist. Hitman: World of Assassination is basically: - Spend 25 minutes creating the perfect plan - Memorize guard routes - Find the perfect disguise - Sneak into a restricted area undetected - Accidentally throw a soda can at someone - Improvise - Somehow get Silent Assassin And then you replay the exact same mission and discover 37 different ways you could’ve done it. One run you’re Agent 47, the world’s deadliest assassin. The next you’re a bald drummer who poisoned someone’s sushi and escaped on a dolphin. 10/10. The real assassination target was my free time.
Hitman WOA represents what AAA games could be. It reaches across genres that seemingly shouldn't be compatible -- sandbox, action-stealth, puzzle -- and yet this contrast is what makes it entirely unique while also being emblematic of its gameplay. It is both serious and goofy. Guided and freeform. Direct or elaborate. Safe or risky. Every successful mission can end in a perfect, clean getaway or a messy, adrenaline-fueled scramble for the nearest exit. The vast majority of missions are large, open-ended levels with one or more targets, sometimes with various optional side objectives. You can explore and complete these missions in whatever way you can devise. Figuring out each level's paths and secrets will test your ability to problem-solve and think outside the box. Every successful mission unlocks more weapons, gear, gadgets, outfits, starting locations, shortcuts, etc., which opens the potential for more playstyles and replayability. Replayability is one of the game's core design pillars -- one that very few (AAA) games ever bother with. You will constantly discover new items and interactions and mechanics and secrets after 100, if not 1000 hours. The worst thing about the game is that it's confusing to buy because it was originally three different games, each of which had expansions and other DLC. Still, even the standard version gives you what is essentially three games in one. It looks great, is well optimized, and there's a ton of content, but the gameplay above all is what elevates it to greatness. Any of its best qualities -- open-ended level design, emergent sandbox gameplay, support for completely different playstyles, meaningful progression, near-infinite replayability -- could and should be replicated by every AAA game.
Good graphics and story
