Hidden Cats: Magic Forest

I have many hidden cats games. I have found all but two of them fun. This is one of the two un-fun ones.

Wonderful idea! Worst camera controls I've ever had to deal with. I was often fighting the controls to keep searching.

I really wanted to like this game, but the last few cats are nowhere to be found. Controls are really buggy and the camera gets stuck all the time. Really annoying, there's no hint system as far as I know, or I haven't found it. I give up, I'm not gonna find the last cats and get the achievements.

What a big garbage game, 100% GPU are freaking kidding me???? such a bad looking game, LMFAO! Even not worth the money plus ugly cats too! "REFUND bcos I dont support devs like this ones"

I'm on the fence about this one: some great ideas, nice decor (that evolves!), but the navigation required to rotate the "camera" is quite challenging due to the various rock formations that "block" where and how much you can pan the scenery. Nice colors, good effects (campfires, tree leaves, etc.) but I decided to give up after about 90 minutes. PS: repeatedly bursting a cat's balloon is cruel (it gets a broken heart) and a weird idea. Due to the fact that the game's navigation controls (left click/hold to drag the scene and right click/hold to rotate the camera) are quite awkward, I reluctantly give it a thumbs down.

In general the game is quite cute, but the controls are awful. Getting stuck every two seconds because the game wouldn't let you move the camera in a certain way is really annoying. It's a cute, but buggy game, that needs a lot of work!

Very cute simple game, and it gives you much-needed visual hints when you get down to the last few cats you haven't spotted yet. xD The music is nice, too!

started playing this game thinking it was gonna be chill 2D vibes… turns out it’s 3D and suddenly i have no depth perception or survival instincts 💀 i was having a good time until i hit the quest: 1 black cat, 5 white cats, 5 orange cats. sounds easy right? wrong. i found most of them, even tracked down the last black cat like a detective in a crime documentary… but then my brain just clocked out. i was running in circles for like 20 minutes questioning my life choices. then my partner walks in like he’s been summoned by my incompetence. i hand him the mouse, slightly defeated. BOOM. man finds the cats in like 30 seconds. and i’m like “HOW???” and he goes, dead serious: “i was thinking… salem likes to drink near flowing water, so maybe the cats are there.” sir???? this is a VIDEO GAME not a wildlife documentary 😭 but the worst part? HE WAS RIGHT. i’ve been outsmarted by a man using real-life cat logic in a pixel world. i’ll never recover.
