Very disappointing post-launch development. Extremely misleading statements made by the team.

I tried really hard to like this game, but found it just too unforgiving for my personal tastes. I had no interest in multiplayer, and devoted my time to the campaign mode, so maybe the game is better in multiplayer, but I found the campaign to be very frustrating. The battles were often extremely difficult. When faced with a difficult battle, my first inclination is to try mixing up my strategy and adopting a different playstyle to specifically counter that battle, but even so, it often came down to sheer luck of the draw whether I'd win or not. If battles were fairly short affairs, this wouldn't be so bad, but they can take quite a long time, and you'll never know whether you're going to win or lose until it happens, so you can't just quit and retry half way through once you see you're in a no-win situation. Your character levels up very slowly, and your rewards for losing battles are minimal, so if you're having trouble with a battle that's required to progress, you may be forced to do a lot of grinding. I rarely felt like I was on an even footing with the AI opponent, it seems that many battles are uphill and the odds are not in your favor. Ultimately, I liked a lot of what the game had to offer, and I think it could be very fun for people who enjoy PvP, but the single-player was just too frustrating for me to enjoy.
The most fun card game I played, it is very difficult at first. However the game get much much easier when you play multiple characters and with more in game cash, you can easily buy better cards from the auction.
