interesting VR experience, especially on the boat. the graphics are good and the voice acting is excellent. the storyline is kinda short tho, I expect more content in the future.
Just spent some quality time with this game. Love: - Control is smooth - Especially love the combat in the open ocean, fun yet challenging with the VR - Pirate element (voice, graphics, story) is authentic so for those who love this theme, this is a must-try Room to improve: - Wish the story is a bit longer so I can have some more fun? Or hope there's a Part II *Overall strongly recommanded.
I really don't understand how this has positive reviews, thank god it was cheap since the whole game feels exactly that. Scaling is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ UP. First scene in the boat, there's a guy in the ocean who is about 5x bigger than you who is supposed to be a crewmate to rescue. Gunplay is a standard point and click affair where enemies beeline towards you, ship combat seems shallow and it just made me start shooting their crew anyway after I hit them twice with my cannons? The screenshots paint a picture in your mind of some amazing action packed adventure, but what you get feels like some assets slapped together quickly to make a VR game. And this is it in a "finished" state? Just don't buy it. Or at least, buy it when it's on sale if you really love to try out every ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game out there like myself.
任务指示做的更明确比较好,现在感觉很不完善
Chinese team finally design a "real game". It's really very interesting,I'll be share it to my friends. 希望国人一起支持国产游戏
System being used: VIVE Pro, Pro controllers and 2.0 sensors, i9-7900X, 1080 and 32 GB RAM Uhh.. this game literally takes about 30 minutes to get through if you've played any kind of nautical simulator and know how to steer to avoid shots from other ships. Is it worth $7.00? I'm really not sure. Pros: The game is fun You can upgrade your weapons, sort of. You get to shoot pirates as well as sail Cons: The game is disjointed at best. Nothing is really explained besides "follow the arrow" When you get to ports you can upgrade your ship for apparently no cost at all. If you miss some of the upgrades at one port, they will still be available at the next port. THere are only 3 opportunities to upgrade them though counting the one at the dock where you start. There are voiced instructions that have no bearing on the game like the bartender telling you to get some rum to fix your gums. But, you can't. So... yeah... Overall the game was fun, but had I known it was only a 30 minute game I would have taken more time to do the fights and, well.. there isn't much more to it. I don't recommend this game simply because of the time it took to complete it and the fact that it's so broken as a story.
This is a small Chinese made VR Only pirate game where you run a pirate ship from VR perspective. There's only about 30 minutes of gameplay despite the $7 USD price tag, and no replayability. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a comparison that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes your game great is the VR, then your game isn't great at all.
