Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era

Its brilliant so I cannot downvote, however, its just too hard. To have a decent game you need to have the AI on hard or higher, but then it just steamrolls you. Balance just isn't quite there yet. Wait until full release unless you just want to PvP

Not for the single player, yet. This is a great Heroes game, which has the potential to be a timeless classic. For now though, it’s decidedly lacking as a single player experience. There are too few custom maps, and poor facilitation of community map making and sharing. Moreover based on the recent (July 2026) roadmap, the development focus appears to be on templates and multiplayer, I don’t think the single player experience is a priority. Stick with H3 if you’re a primarily solo player, keep an eye on this one for the future.

It only hit because of the HoMM 3 nostalgia, but the second that wore off, the game is bad. The AI is absolutely horrible. The devs seem entirely focused on PvP, PvE is truly bad. The higher level difficulties just mean the AI spawns with a lot of units. IT functionally doesn't know how to play the game, doesn't advance properly. Basically, if you survive early, you win, because the AI can't develop. Win a week 2 push and it is GGs. It has a long way to go.

Если всё пойдёт нормально в дальнейшей разработке, то это будут лучшие герои всех времен и народов! Даже на данный момент (11.07.2026, ранний доступ) игра выглядит впечатляюще и может увлечь на сотни часов.
