If you wish to play the single player campaing, you may have a good fun. On the other side, you will be aming to play PVP and you won't really enjoy it. You can easily bug abuse every game and devs won't do nothing about it as they accept the fact that this is part of the game and most likely this won't be change. So do I recommend the game? If it costs 5 euro for a single player experience yes, but I would not pay more then that to fully enjoy it as you would like to play PvP.
只根据PVP来平衡太傻比了,裂渊改动的都没法玩了.
I played the OG HMM games growing up and this games does them justice while adding in some very nice modern elements. Multiplayer works great, but this is one of very few games I actually enjoy playing solo too.
I really hate to say this about an Early Access Game, but this is in my running for GOTY already. This is the best Heroes of Might and Magic game since Heroes III, bar-hecking-none. In fact, I might actually like it *better* than Heroes III: It achieves the same painterly, immersive, otherworldly qualities as the early games in the series (I-III) while implementing almost all of the Quality of Life improvements introduced in Heroes V. The writing is engaging, the campaign is detailed and deep, and the underlying systems are well-balanced. I am so excited to let these devs cook.
Thanks for everything so far. I'm leaving this review just to letting you know that... keep it up! There are many community opinions, don't let them tear you apart between priorities. Please, finish the game. And both PvE and PvP are cool. Heroes in a way are like Starcraft. Just don't make Blizzard mistakes. I believe in you guys. About the game: + Atmosphere and gameplay are REALLY similar to HoMM3, it allows seamless transition, there's just no bulls*** in game. + It really feels good playing it. I can't describe it, it just FEELS. GOOD. Also whoever made animations and sfx - good job, guys! + PvP balance patches. + The campaign. I only started it though. - Not enough 3P, 4P, 6P maps yet. Most maps that are there are HUGE with too many cities. I know it's should not be a con, but... It'd be cool to have some small maps for 3P and 4P. - No teaming yet. I hope to see the option in the future to make a team of players, like in Stronghold, for example. So far, this is the best heroes since HoMM3 by A MARGIN (exclude comparison to HoMM3 itself).
Everyone talking about balancing PVP and not taking care about PVE. But even PVP is awful and buggy. I play almost all the time in PVP, but i tired of how buggy it's. Today I played 4 games, 3 of 4 stuck due to the bug which exists since the start of it (with restart during fights). Another game I spend 1 hr playing and at some point just got "connection error" screen, was waiting for 20 mins and left(got -40). Just fix your buggy game instead of trying to balance +1 damage and -1 armour. So much problems reported in discord just open for months with 0 attention. You have so big community who is helping you to find bugs but even with that you can't fix them for months. So pathetic
I'm old (very old...), and not really an avid 'gamer', but this software has revived an old fondness for turn-based games (Dungeon Master on the Atari; yes, I'm that old...). I never play PvP (too dumb for that...); the Single Player mode has more than enough variety and interest to keep me going for (I hope...) a few more decades yet. Recommended, then, for those who, like me, are not very good at computer games. This one is a Good One.
