The only current alternative to The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot.
It's literally Mighty Quest for Epic Loot but for mobile. But on PC. And all the mobile pricing and scam that comes with it. Right off the bat the game puts you in your dungeon, the only notification there is is for the shop to promote thoses heavily priced dlcs and lootboxes. Then you just pamper your dungeon and raid others for meaningless rewards. because you get twentieth of a lootbox per victory, there's even a timer, but the timer is set by how fast the owner did, so you can just make a maze and gain advantage on that. Heroes are.. eeh. Not great. But that's also due to the controls which are *bad*. It's an attempt to make a mobile format usable with a keyboard and mouse. So it's all directed by mouse with all the problems that comes with that. Just dont. It's a mobile game. With all the tropes of mobile money grabbing.

so many cheaters in the game makes it impossible to even play
Game is at beta stage ( like most of them these days) so some bugs are expected, but one thing is working, the shop. I can see where this is going, and its a shame.
Heroes of Fortunia is an abandoned Early Access mobile app loot box scam that was dumped on Steam as a nasty, predatory cash grab. It's an unusual 2-part game model where you first design a dungeon then you must fight through another players designed dungeon. Zero effort was involved in terms of constraining user dungeon design, so you can just dump 100 nasty enemies in a pile at the end of the dungeon that slaughter any player trying to get through... it's pathetic that the developer thought it was ok to enable completely unwinnable dungeon design in this lazy attempt at a game. It's understandable they abandoned this when realising they had no idea how to actually make a video game. Also, very importantly, this isn't free at all, progression in the game is 100% blocked by cancerous loot box gambling. Screw these guys, it's good that this is a dead game. It's just a mystery why Valve permits abandoned Early Access projects, especially cancerous ones like this, to persist on Steam. Don't download this crap.
I came here because i felt nostalgic and thought about mighty quest for epic loot. These games definately have their similarities, while this game is not as fleshed out yet. The combat feels clunky and there are currently three hero classes. THe game has big potential, so i will follow it for a while. In its current state the gameplay is just not appealing to me.
if you like the mighty quest for epic loot then you should enjoy this game!
The game has many hacks lack moderation one of the worst online games I've ever played
