Heroes of Arca is a unique blend of a turn-based strategy and RPG with an unorthodox combat system that presents a wide choice of battle tactics for the turn-based games' fans.

This would be a decent way to waste time while taking a bus somewhere. too bad I walk to work.
"Heroes of Arca" looks like some kind of old school MMORPG, but don't be fooled, this is a failed mobile app that was dumped on Steam as an afterthought. It's since been removed from the app stores, but that's no surprise, Apple and Google have quality control for their stores. Valve doesn't. Anyway, from poor mobile app graphics to a water thin "story" and godawful RNG dominated, shallow combat, this is a train wreck. This has some fairly mediocre/dated looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $6 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Very cute mini game. I passed it in one day on normal. I like the concept and the battle mechanics. There is a lack of freedom, and a few enemies were annoying. Basically, you had to fight your twin a number of times to level up and then kill the enemy. You have to use a variety of skills and be flexible on tactics. The achievements, monsters, and enemies are cute. Also, no glitches. Overall, a really good adventure/turn-base strategy game.
It's just a game of who can roll better. Get rid of the extra turn for rolling tripples. Waste of time.
Sloppy JRPG Poker.

Eh. Interesting system, and definitely worth the price, but it's very simple, repetitive, and clunky. If you're bored and just wanna try a new game, give it a shot. Otherwise...
