Fun n action-RPG.
This game has some fun gameplay and a funny story However, it needs more checkpoints, because it's not fun to have to go through a few tediously easy segments before you get to the trickier boss battle

This game is awesome. After I found it, I became so enamored with the storyline and with the intensity and ingenuity of the combat style. I just played, and played, and played it until I beat it. I just enjoyed it so much. 10/10 5 stars would recommend to anyone and would play again when I wanted some laughs.
"Heroes Must Die" is a tongue-in-cheek satirical pixelcrap RPG, the developer tried to describe this as an ARPG but it's turn based... I think it would be a good idea if developers pass some kind of basic game understanding test before being allowed to burn $100 through Steam Direct. Anyway this is not great. It looks like an RPG Maker asset flip, but instead of taking the easy route they used Unity to recreate something that looks like an RPG Maker asset flip. Putting effort into failure. What do you do in the game? Mediocre turn based tactical combat punctuated by reams of high school anime club dropout cringefest fan-fiction "writing". You know that old axiom of game design, "Show, don't tell?" Because the developer here didn't. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This game is fairly dated at 9 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. On pricing, this is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam.
-awkward battle system -repeatative -text speed too fast, most of the time u've to repeat the dialogue -story driven but no quest tracking -it even hang up during dialogue +a bit nice story though
