its like diablo on pcp 1000/10
I am really surprised how much fun this game is. For sure worth grabbing it for the $5 or whatever
Don't be fooled by the Mixed rating, it's actually a very good game. In the past it went through a complete overhaul, and turned into a full fledged diablo-like, so people who liked the old version better got salty and downvoted en masse. Now, about the game itself: At the moment I believe it's the title of its genre who comes closer to d2 gameplay: with runewords, charms, proper mercenaries, deep but not exceedingly complex itemization and skill tree, and overall it gives a very satisfying oldschool vibe mixed with many aspects similar to poe (map events, codex, tarot cards, item modifying currency, etc). In season 9 a proper passive skill tree was added (it's huge!), along with the ether tree (farm mechanics passive tree), getting the title closer to a more modern formula. So far, it delivers on all the core aspects of the genre, and the devs have been very active on developing the game. Do not overlook the fact it's made by a small studio, if you play, you'll immediately notice it holds its ground much better than many other titles of the same genre.
