I just started playing Hero Siege in Season 9, and honestly, it caught me off guard in a good way. I grew up on ARPGs like Diablo, and I’ve spent a lot of time in newer ones like Last Epoch and Path of Exile, so I’ve got a pretty solid feel for the genre. What surprised me is how Hero Siege manages to pull bits and pieces from all of them and blend it into something that actually feels fresh. The gameplay loop is super addictive. It’s got that classic “just one more run” feeling, and before you know it, hours are gone. There’s a ton of replayability with all the different classes and builds you can try, and experimenting doesn’t feel like a chore—it’s part of the fun. The price is another big win. For what you’re getting, it feels like a steal. You’re not dropping AAA money, but you’re still getting a game with a lot of depth and content. I also didn’t expect to enjoy the visuals as much as I do. The pixel-style graphics might look simple at first, but they’ve got a lot of charm and personality. It gives the game its own identity instead of trying to copy the darker, gritty look of other ARPGs. If you’re into ARPGs at all, this is one of those games you should at least try. Just a warning though—it’s the kind of game that sneaks up on you and suddenly you’re hooked.
Game is not even great and yer man is a sexist racist ♥♥♥♥. https://www.thegamer.com/indie-dev-racist-twitter-rant/ https://www.resetera.com/threads/panic-art-studios-founder-apologises-for-saying-women-dont-have-the-nerves-to-be-a-ceo.53499/
got some server and optimization issues but still better than poe2
jogo ruim, lobby lagado, modo hardcore lixo, nao percam tempo.
This game is okay. It has changed drastically over the years but i cannot give it a positive score after my many hours with is simply because its just ok. The optimization is very bad The market is atrocious to use, to the point that i'd rather sell to the vendor instead unless for very high end items. Good luck finding the item you need unless its a generic Unique or set piece that you can just grab the first one and call it a day. The filtering system straight up does not work. The quests are tedius with very low % rates for the items you need to finish them ( im looking at you bone piles) These points and a few more hold it back from being more than ok. Its not a bad game but not one that i would recommend over other Arpg's in the current state of things. Devs are definitely moving in the right direction with content updates but a bit of polish in needed.
I bought Hero Siege because I was told it was just a nice, simple blend of Diablo and The Binding of Isaac. A casual little pixel-art hack-and-slash to chill with. How wrong I was. Hero Siege is not a game; it is an identity crisis disguised as an ARPG that violently straps you to a treadmill of flashing lights, escalating damage numbers, and an endless existential quest to figure out what genre it actually wants to be this season. Just when you think you've settled into a rhythm—“Ah yes, I kill screen, I get loot, I watch numbers go up”—the game looks you dead in the eye, rolls out a massive seasonal overhaul, resets the leaderboard, and completely changes how difficulties work just to keep you guessing. One minute you're happily clearing maps, and the next you're staring at your gear wondering if trying to upgrade that one mythic item is going to brick your entire build and send you spiraling into an existential crisis. 8/10. Do not download this unless you are prepared to sell your soul to seasonal ladders and endless loot pinatas.
